I saw an article yesterday saying the Chargers might let him go for three 1sts. I'd probably do it. I mean. . . long term. . . all we need is a stud QB.

Herbert is stumbling.

Although, after the last two drafts, I value our Thursday and Friday picks more than ever.

Hold on there. We did not give three 1sts for a "guy in his prime with no signs of slowing down." Watson was so full of baggage it's taken 4 full years to get the rust off of him and get his head straight, and it's not all gone and his head could still crumble. Herbert doesn't get hurt and only missed a few games in his career. He's had the worst and most injured offensive line the last two seasons. And he's got very few weapons. He hasn't been good. No doubt. But you put him on this team and the sky is the limit.

That's the thing. We can always use 1st round picks, but getting a top 6 QB, at least in talent, would skyrocket our potential. Watson is not coming back. I'd take Herbert over any rookie QB in next years' draft. Monken might be just what Herbert needs.
