I'm betting the PR department cares some. No team likes to reveal a logo which they've worked on for 2 years and have the reaction of "Ha! You're kidding, right?" vs "Wow, they nailed it! I'm heading to the Team Shop to get some new gear!".

I too think it'll be fine, but it's hard to believe this is the reaction they were hoping for.

Have they been "working on it for two years"? Or has it just been two years since they said they were going to change, and now the time frame for the change has come and gone. Big difference.

I'd be willing to bet that the logo and new unis have gone on for two years. People are talking like the logo was the only thing being worked on.

It's just a case of "let's pile on the Browns". Especially given the other problems the Browns have had since the season ended.

Fans doing it, grinds my gears.

Browns brought this on themselves with the big email campaign and social media push only to reveal a different shade of orange.

If the campaign would have been "New uniforms to be revealed on April 14, but we'll be releasing a sneak peak of 2015's helmet on Feb 24th - sign up here today to see it first!", then it would have gone over better. Updated orange, wider stripe, and brown masks would have been better received.

But who cares, they over sold it. Nobody is quitting their Browns fandom over this. Nobody is getting fired. It's just a sports logo, not the on the field product.

The uni's will be cool and I'm really excited to see if they include gunmetal gray, but am okay if they don't.

FA signings start March 10. Draft in April. It's all good.

In my opinion, the overselling was done more by the fans and media than the organization. They even said multiple times to temper expectations.

This is big business...and big business never does anything like this without dragging it on and on and on with meeting after meeting and spending boatloads of cash on focus groups, questionnaires, surveys and more meetings and meetings about meetings until at last they've all come to a consensus or the guy in charge just says fuck it we're doing this.

I think those look great. But the previous info sounded like there would be some sort of stripe on the uni's.

But again, those look solid IMO.

This is a helmet

NFL Logos through the years. I didnt' realize how many teams have undergone a slight change like Cleveland just did somewhere along the way.

Kudos to the Patriots. That 1960 logo has high-back logo (or tramp stamp) written all over it. Plus, I've always loved how they had the guts to put a lineman on the helmet for so many years.

I like the uniforms whitner Haden and Thomas had on.....those gotta be the new ones right?

I noticed alot of teams their last logo change was subtle and redo previous logo.

I thi k the brighter orange,Brown face mask, and hopefully new....legit uniforms brings energy here.

Pettine is helping the lockerroom. I just don't think he great hc. Hopefully, deflippio has manziel and offense clicking and scoring 30+
