Love it. You can see some texture in the white stripe as well as the chrome orange. Great helmet.
 
I saw where this event was going to be several hours long with an hour or so broadcast on local TV..around 7_8pm if I recall

Does anyone know if NFLLive or something will have the unveil for "us other folks"?
 
I hope they do. NFL live is my other option, too. It won't be long before video is posted, but it would be really cool to watch it live.
 
THAT helmet is something along the lines of what I can be proud of...

I like the metallic orange (rather than matte finish, like it's supposed to be) and the reflective aspect that looks to be in the white...
a reflective element to white or gray on the uni's will DO IT for me...
maybe Whitner wasn't kidding about 'Oregon of the NFL'
the brown should be ideally quite dark... darker the better ...the facemask looks a shade lighter than the helmet stripes.

The facemask in the photo is brown and the helmet has the latest sticker (Heads Up), so it looks legit...

only we were told it would be matte finish...

Hey Tony: The ideal color for a viewing obstruction is one that contrasts with the object you are trying to see. Contrary to this are the new brown face masks, which may compromise the ability of players to find and follow brown footballs. This has been discussed extensively for ice hockey, where many goalies avoid black face masks. Has this been discussed by or asked of the Browns? It sounds silly, but this is the kind of thing that people who are obsessed with winning would consider when changing uniforms. Thanks, I enjoy your work.

Hey Ben: A very interesting observation. I’m assuming that the brown facemasks won’t be a factor because they are positioned outside the field of vision. But if we see an avalanche of dropped passes and fumbled handoffs, I will remember your email and revisit your point.​

I know it been said to be fake, but this uni keeps popping up in stores - this time in a store in Columbus.

Not sure why the would keep popping up if there was nothing to them.
 
I really hope this is the helmet. It'll make the Bengals and Stillers helmets look like your grandpa's helmet.

Don't know. It was just posted in a closed Browns group on Facebook yesterday. The gentleman said he took it at a store in Columbus, but didn't specify which one. He said he's seen them at a couple of stores in Columbus - said it was in Polaris Mall.
 
Daryl Ruiter shared, on twitter, a message he got from the Browns saying that the jerseys will only be available from the Browns website and pro-shop at First Energy Stadium when they are announced. They will not be released to stores until later in the week. This may explain why there are no leaks - according to the team, stores don't even have the jersey's for pre-stock.
 
But Ruiter also said that orange jersey is real and from Nike. Is he pranking? My son thinks so.
