Pete Schrager says he hears the Browns uniforms are "pretty cool," team worked closely with Oregon-based Nike designers.

Again... don't think they're the 1999 throwback replicas. Those are not "pretty cool." Or at all cool.

I'm worried they either stick so hard to tradition that there'll be zero difference. Talk show hosts and YouTubers unite to make fun of us.

Or, they go out on a limb, and all the old farts won't be able to handle any level of modernization and claim they f'd it up.

So, I'm worried for the franchise, like someone else said, that's it's too fine of line to walk.

Of course, I lean towards trying something different. The only team who had sucess with the current uni's is Art f-ing Model back in the 60's. I say we move on from the last few decades and turn the page.

I also LOVE what Nike did for Seattle. Best uni's in the league if I take biases out of it. I'm hoping they hit a homerun for us too.

And I love the Hartline Instagram helmet - logoless and boss. If they can hit on the uni's in the same way, we'll be all right.

Yeah, that's gotta be the 9. Unless Whitner saw some gray pants splashed in there bumping a couple of those combos out, thus the Oregon Ducks bit.

But I'm thinking you're on. That's the nine.
 
I think Seattle got it right. They have a cool, distinctive core color and some great accent colors to play with. Modern but not gaudy.

Let's be real: The Pacific Northwest is just fucking cool. If you don't believe it, go in any craft beer joint in the Pearl District and your waiter will happily explain why he's way cooler than you are. And L.A. is a giant cultural wasteland of sell-out money whores.
 
I had a look for the g(r)ay rumors but it seems that only came from a reddit discussion in which the helmet was discribed as "Candy orange and a matching color facemask" which seems incorrect given the logo shows a brown facemask, and I would be shocked if the facemask was any other color than brown.

Is there anything else linking the Browns to gray that I missed?
 
So in the brown and white jerseys, by this design... they'd be unchanged. That's where the stripes are now. The only difference in that jersey is it's a replica... and orange. With offset numbers like that 2000-ish team.

So that wouldn't really make any sense, right?
 
The brown jersey rumor said the numbers are orange with white "shadow", orange under the ar-pits and down the sides, with oange on the shoulders

Ok guys.. I'm being legit honest..

I have seen the brown jerseys. If the one I saw is legit.. it's pretty cool. But it will make some of you very angry.

It's the same style as the others that we have seen.. and exactly as rumoured.. orange numbers.. white shadow.. orange stiching. If it's legit.. (i think it is bc it's the same as the others) then I like it.

It's just a bit weird to see the white as the shadow.. it gives a cool 3-d effect

But for those of you who think it's amateurish.. then you will hate it

Brown jerseys with orange lettering and white shadowing to give a 3D effect sounds damn good to me.

If by amateurish you mean it leans non-traditional, then I'll dig it. I'm ready for something that suggests "this century".

Addendum: Well, as long as the orange lettering is pantone 2028c. Anything else and I'll go ape-shit.

If you want to see the rumoured leaked brown jersey. . PM ne.. I have it on my phone.. they removed the pic from the net that had it but I luckily took a screen shot. If I send you the pic.. DO NOT POST on social media.. I'll follow the guys insteuctions who gave it to me

Remember.. it can be a fake because it's the same as the other 2 essentially but brown with white shadow and orange numbers.

I'm not claiming it to be real.. but it looks legit like the others
 
PGL, would you estimate that to be the fan version?

In other words, has the flappy sleeves down to the elbows vs a sleeve that bunches under shoulder pads like players would wear.
 
Yeah.. like the other 2 the brown looks like the fan version.

I'm still thinking there's a chance all 3 are fake. However.. if they are fake.. that's a damn good fake down to the stitching. Then again as some expect the browns could have planted these pics As "guerilla marketing" for the real reveal.

I'm hesitant showing the brown one off bc if it's fake.. then I look like an idiot lol
