NFL Draft The number 2 overall pick

Opting to get Levis weapons in Nash?

Bumping this to the top because it's relevant to what the Titans will do. Seems even more relevant now in the middle of April. We still have to wonder how much faith the Callahans have in Levis and does their new GM decide to get a "generational" talent in Hunter. I know Hunter wants to play receiver and corner. 12 games in a season in college is not the same as 17 games in a season in the NFL. It seems unlikely to happen. I'd bet he'll be a WR that can fill in at corner some times. Who ever takes him might experiment with him playing both ways. The wear and tear from 17 games is bad enough w/o trying to play both offense and defense. I hope the Titans grab him and do the experimenting thing. Then Berry and Depo will have to do the sensible thing and pick a winning QB if they can.

To me, personally, Travis Hunter is the obvious pick and is the only player in this Draft who is as Blue Chip as anyone else. Abdul Carter is not Myles Garrett, and Cam Ward is QB4 last Draft. There is a legitimate argument to be made for taking Hunter over Harrison Jr. last season. There's an argument now too. Travis Hunter is the one prospect where it's kind of jaw-dropping. From Steph Curry to Saquon Barkley, I've learned over the years those kind of prospects are never regretted.

In my head it's Sanders and Milroe at QB in the Draft. Probably Sanders, because I think the NFL is not that interested in him.

Marvin Harrison was “can’t miss”, proving there isn’t ever a can’t miss guy.

Hunter has a 2 different ways he can succeed.

Let’s have a go w him.

If the team that drafts him is smart... fuck what am I saying, we're the Browns... then they first let him find a spot at receiver and if he can do that and has all of that down, he can add work at sub packages at corner.

Inversely he could get the defense down and maybe get some plays at receiver. But that always screams "the ball is going THAT way", so I dont like it.

The worst case would allow him to do both and become ineffective at both.

I don't think it's much more than establishing value for the #1 pick and using that info compared to the 3rd pick in the draft to tighten up exactly what their pick's value is.
Yeah, they could be interested in a guy but at #2 what are we doing? Let the Titans pick and know there are options if their target guy is off the board.

If true, the obvious question is who were they after?
Yeah, speculation continues.
