If you're juiceless, you're useless
The Cleveland Browns have a very real chance to reach the playoffs
Jason La Canfora, NFL insider

We're 4-2, so Monken gets some credit. But he's an offensive coach and so far our offense has been horrible - except for a few moments. It's not sustainable.

Yeah, and he has his team on the upswing now that he has a real QB and not Cooper Rush.
I never disliked him. Sure, it was maybe time for a change, and that did feel about right, but he was no Freddie Kitchens either etc.

I never liked Kevin and I'm glad he's fucking gone!

So far, Monken's offense has been bad at almost everything. We can't run. We can't pass consistently, except against the Titans. But we're doing two things really well: not turning the ball over and making plays in the clutch. I've been saying for the last several years that if we get mediocre QB play and don't turn the ball over, we're going to be hard to beat. Watson deserves credit: he's not turning the ball over much and he's making the plays when it counts. I'm not sure that's sustainable. But as our young offensive line improves (and I think they are/will), we should get more consistent on offense.
