And Monken failed as a College Head Coach. College. Fucking College. In a weak ass conference. He's a punk.

Oh, right. This is Cleveland where we are now giving him credit for Harbaughs hard work and blaming everyone else for his ineptitude and failures.

And that's why this Team will never fucking change. Jimmy serves up constant shit sandwiches and the fan base lines up to say "thank you daddy." 🙄

Schwartz was infinitely more qualified and competent for the HC gig than this chinless failure. Period.

They were 0-12 before he arrived, & three years later he was 9-5, won the division, won the bowl game, and was named Coach of the Year.

I respect the way this old white guy scrapped and earned his way up, paid his dues, and is the now getting his shot, after a slogging through 30 years of coaching.

No shortcuts. No special rules. Just work.

I’m willing to give it a chance.
 
Robert Saleh saying at his welcome presser he's going to call his own defensive plays, because without calling plays as the HC, "I just felt like I was calling timeouts and occasionally throwing the red flag".

The DC and OC matter. A lot.

I've thought all long, I want to see who the playcaller and QB are, then I'll start forming an opinion. Monken can call plays, adapt to his talent, and produce. Now we're down to the QB question.

The news I want to hear next is Tarver will be calling the defensive plays.

You skipped the first two years, where he didn't do shit before posting a 9-5 record, which is mediocre by College standards, in one of the most cake divisions.

By all means, give him a chance. I'm not going to go all sunshine and rainbows on an asshole with a mediocre at best record, who cost us the best DC we have had in decades and a HC candidate more than qualified for the position, who would have brought BROWNS football back to Cleveland.

Unlike you... I have good vibes about this hire.... I'm not ready to sing Kumbaya yet... But this might be the one instance Jimmy got it right for once.. I would be okay if they got Wink Martindale or somehow got Gregg Williams back.. Williams said publicly he would come back..... Let's see what happens... I'm tired of feeling crabby and depressed over this team.. I would rather look to the positives...
