We have more patience with coaches than we do players. Until the Watson anchor is lifted (two more years), we're going to struggle to compete. Monken gets at least 3 years to right the ship.

Don't buy the MSM BS Hay.

Monken can't be the most anything ever since he's not been a HC in a single game to date.

The offense Monken installs for Sanders is yet to be seen let alone compared to. We think it's a heavy run game but if your QB sucks, guess what? Monken is going to rely on running the ball. Even if running the ball is not a mainstay of his offense going forward.

Berry is on record saying there are only 2 starting positions up for grabs on D.

The message to the defensive players is “you guys aren’t good because of Schwartz. You guys are good because you make the plays.”

As Monken said, he was worried about Garrett. He wasn’t worried about the guy in the headset.

The D knows. We need points.

That idea is your idea. Certainly not mine.

The offense won't be awesome because they're going to overhaul the offense. Even if Schwartz was the HC, the offense is in for an overhaul and by default is going to go through a learing curve. 😬
 
The problem last year was offense.
And keeping Schwartz would fix that it what way?
What level-headed OC would take this job?
I’ll tell you who. One who could also be the HC
I’m not saying it’s a sure-fire plan, but I get it.

I like Tarver to a point... I'm just not sure he can be a savvy DC... Position coach?... Hell yes.. He's done very well with our LB's during his tenure..... I'm not sure Banda could excel either... I think those two are great where they are...
 
now we have a disgruntled D team and a rebuilding and ineffective OFF to look forward to
and TM is going to demand QB options.soon.he may even force a QB draft this year in the 1st rd
or a big gamble in QB FA. (which after the DW disaster we are still very interested..)

You may be right. Who knows, but I'm the opposite of almost every one of your points

The D will likely not be disgruntled, if at all, for long. Schwes and Ward seem fine. Myles has been fine in his interviews too.
No way TM drafts a first round QB this year
No way the offense can we worse. It'll be better, we just don't know by how much.
No way we're spending 30m on Willis and his 6 NFL starts while paying Watson his 40+m.
