NYC nurses strike negotiations resume on Day 5 of picketing outside major hospitals

Negotiators for major New York City hospitals and the state nurses union returned to the bargaining table as the city's largest nurses strike enters a fifth day.

Mount Sinai says its nurses earn $162,000 on average, said in a statement the union's proposals "would cost $1.6 billion over three years just at The Mount Sinai Hospital, raising average nurse pay to close to $250,000."
