Patrick Bailey praised the culture, saying the Guardians' clubhouse energy stays consistent regardless of the score and calling it one of the best environments he’s been part of in his career.

“Every moment, the energy is the same in the dugout whether we’re up or down. Nothing feels bigger than how the moment presents itself," Bailey said. "It’s a ton of fun. It’s probably one of the coolest cultures I’ve seen or been a part of. I’m super happy to be here."

2nd best record in the AL and 1 of only 5 AL teams over .500. Pretty impressive considering the we had a bad stretch and a very inconsistent offense.

Bazzana and DeLauter are dudes.
Rocchio is on a heater
Martinez is playing well... but I don't trust him long term.
Kwan is a trash can who we should have traded 2 years ago when he got hot.
Manzardo is an inconsistent young player... but I want to keep the project going.
Schneeman and Fry are solid role players
Hoskins stinks


With the amount of youth on this team, there will be ups & downs and more stretches of inconsistency... and late season worries me when young players typically start to fatigue and burn out somewhat because they aren't used to 162 game seasons. I also hope we make a move at the deadline for a bat - Martinez is expendable if hot (like Kwan 2 years ago); Haplin shouldn't be counted on; Hoskins offers nothing. We will need a solid veteran bat in the line-up.

Fun start to the season. Let's hope it continues.
