Again, if he played like the all-pro we traded for, it’d be fine on the contract.

People questioned the money
People questioned the baggage
Few questioned the talent.

What made it all fall apart? The damn talent.

I think Watson loves football. but I also believe the whole ugly situation, exposed to the world, kind of broke him. I hated that fucking trade, but everyone knows when he's right, he's a great player. Can he ever be right again? I kind of doubt it. But it's not impossible.

It's all moot at this point... If the Browns think about starting him it just puts a bigger black stain on their faces.. The Browns just don't project much in the way of credibility or Organizational stability in any way.. I have very little hope of this franchise winning anything during the remainder of my life in any way , shape or form.. I'm just being brutally honest... In short... The Browns will literally have to cheat IMHO... Jimmy Haslam is a complete nincompoop!!... He's done it all wrong in every way imaginable... I just turned 60 back in January... If I make it another 10-15 years I'll consider myself lucky.. This team is always in some kind of rebuilding mode.. Jimmy's record is piss poor... I don't see the trend changing any time soon.. And that's just stark reality.. Jimmy , if we are being completely honest has been a buffoon and a shitty owner of OUR Beloved Cleveland Browns...

And he has the gaul and nerve to expect us to foot part of the bill for a new facility?... He can fuck off!!.. If he moves the team... I'll become a Bengals fan... They at least are in Ohio... Having a Dumbocrat Mayor for the last 30 some years in Cleveland hasn't helped.. Mike White,Jane Campbell and Frank Jackson and now Justin Bibb have been completely awful... Downtown Cleveland is almost a ghost town... The warehouse district is completely dead... Manufacturing is down.. And businesses and corporations have left.. I guess the Browns will leave a 2nd time.. How does the Nashville Browns grab you?

Have said it before ... will the "we should have been more patient with Baker" crowd re-apply their considerate approach to "we should have been more patient with Watson"?

I feel that. Shit, I just spent the last several years not even watching the NFL because I wasn't going to cheer for Haslem 's serial rapist.

Truckstop Jimmy is a fucking joke of an Owner and I really don't get the love affair for the guy by the fans. Ever since he got here his focus has been on merchandising and rebranding. From Day one he has been whining he wants a dime stadium, at taxpayer expense, to be able to rent out year round.

Fucking move the team already and be done with it. Turn it into the St. Louis Greens, San Antonio Dipshits or whatever the fuck it's inevitably going to become. I don't even care at this point.

Well. . . kind of apples to oranges. Baker was a 1st round #1 pick who only played 4 seasons for us. Ups and downs, for sure, but he showed great potential. Watson came here as an advertised top 5 NFL QB. But what we got was a bottom 5 NFL QB. And I don't know how we could have had more patience with Watson than we did. I mean. . . I guess we could still be calling him the #1 when he returns from injury.
