It only takes a few to "boo", for the CLE media to report it. It'll likely happen.
Many fans hated the trade in the first place, and now a ton who tried to embrace it, are sick of defending him / pulling for him.
I realize this is well known.

How do you know that? A couple of offseason workout videos? What's he run the 40 in? He looks slow af compared to his glory days. Linemen are running him down. Dude has made millions and millions while rehabbing. Nick Chubb worked his ass off after the knee injury. Where did that get him? No sympathy or respect for Watson until he earns a paycheck.

We saw similar stats in the first exhibition game in reverse. After this game today it's anybody's job. But we don't know what's been going on behind closed doors that could give one guy the edge.
 
If Monk wants Watson, he's going to have to get peace of mind from the fact that the first two games are away.

If we win, then Watson won't get booed at our home opener, much.
If he looks terrible, then he starts SS for the home opener.

But, if he looks medium/serviceable, then the pickle continues.

One of the worst (and false) cliche's in football... along with "defense wins championships". It's very rare for a tema to have 2 really good QB's. But when they do, it's never a bad thing and team has... two really good QB's.

When a team has two bad QB's... then they have no QB.
