NFL Draft WR Draft Watch 2026

OconRecon

If you're juiceless, you're useless
Would like Moore, Simpson, or Mendoza with our pick, and the Tate with the Jags pick, but it looks like Tate won't make it to the 20th+ overall. Plus, we need an OT after a QB.

However, to quote Mark Schlereth "I don’t like the way their receiving corps is constructed. All little dudes. Don’t have a lot of production there."

Enter 6'4" 220 WR from ND. Might make it to the 3rd round, but if ND gets on a run, he'll likely move up to the 2nd round just d/t the exposure:

Who else?

I'm tired of always having a bunch of little receivers, thus ...

Projected WR Depth Chart for Browns 2026
  • WR1: Carnell Tate
  • WR2: Jerry Juedy
  • WR3: Deandre Hopkins
  • WR4: Isaiah Bond
  • WR5: Cedric Tillman
  • WR6: Malachi Corley

WR3: Deandre Hopkins
Certainly can get behind drafting Tate.

Hopkins is washed. He'll be 34 next year.

If we could swing Deebo to pair with Tate & Jeudy, now that's some roster churn I could get behind. Probably too much to ask given how this FO values WRs, but I'd rather see us go after a lower 1st / high 2nd tier guy like Jakobi Myers, or even 3rd tier Jahan Dotson, than a name-recognition-only, older vet like Hopkins.

Brugler had Nussmeier rated as a mid/late 1st round pick before this last injury marred season. He's BM clone at 6'01 205 but he has some game. At the top of the 2nd he could be in play, as well as Carson Beck, if they have questions about Sanders.

I'd keep taking shots at QB in general and I'm not advocating for these guys just that they're in play if WR's or OLinemen are not in play when they pick.
