Recall, AB leans towards a younger player. I really like M. Fields as the 2nd WR we draft, in the 3rd or 4th round. BUT, with him being 24, I could easily shift to 22 yr-old Lane as a younger tall WR who has the hands.

Plenty fast, plenty big, great hands. His bench press sucks though lol.

At #24, we will have a shot at plenty of really solid WR prospects. Picking the right one is the key. I'm not sure Tate is going to be that much better than almost any of these guys. So we probably take our pick of tackles at #6 and go WR at #24.

JORDYN TYSON AZ STATE: We better not take him in round 1 with his injury history given the other healthy receivers available: The former Sun Devil missed three games last year due to a recurring right hamstring injury. He then reportedly suffered another hamstring injury while training for the NFL Scouting Combine. Some reports indicate that the most recent hamstring injury is in his left leg. He broke his collarbone in 2024 and tore his ACL, MCL and PCL in 2022. We all know how cumulative injuries kill players and these are mostly wheel injuries on a WR… Heck no..

They said the same about Nick Chubb with his knee injury and all. And we all know how well Nick Chubb played in the league.

Bottom line is they have to get his medicals checked out. Thoroughly. If he comes to Berea, has no issues and the docs say he's good to go then he's in play. I'd prefer Tate.

If Tate is gone and the FO thinks the best Tackle in the draft is not worthy of the 6th pick and we have no trade partner, Tyson is in play.

That’s probably why Chubb was available in round 2. And Yes, he certainly worked out well. Best RB we’ve had since the return. Let’s hope Judkins can be even better. Tyson just makes me nervous … We need a playmaker.. but he has to be on the field. It Tate is there I’m sprinting to the podium at 6 and not listening to trade offers.

If we go LT at 6, then I'm running to the podium for Tyson at 24.
Just don't think he's "6-worthy".
Heck, I'd consider him at 24 even if we take Tate at 6.

I've said I'm good with all these outcomes. With all the FA OLinemen we signed we could easily take WR's at both 6 and 24.
I like Tyson if his medicals prove he's good. I'd prefer him at 24 for sure. I'm saying when we pick at 6 if Tate is gone and we have no trade partner I don't want Lemon. He's too small for me at 6. Which leaves Tyson or more than likely a Tackle not worthy of the 6th selection.

I was thinking along the lines of a worst case scenario when we pick at 6.

What are the best options in play for us if Tate is gone and we have no trade partner? A lot of us would just take a Tackle but I don't know.

What about Love?
