olave? yeah hes good but hes small.listed at 189 prolly means 185. hes 6 feet and a half,rounded up to 6'1" our QB loves throwing high (is he stoned?) and away. I like london here.at 6'5" 210 thats @25 pounds heavier.we just lost an under 200 pound fast WR with experience.It didnt work. speed wont help baker, but size might. need a different look here.more of the same will give us similar results.we have speed guys on the roster already.

well,you're assuming bakers going to fail this year.If we make the playoffs and he looks good doing it he'll get his big contract.
If we fail and have another 500 season? we may still franchise tag him IF we make the common mistake and fail to draft a solid prospect in this years draft.which is a nice segway into my explaining my picks above^^.yeah Its a reach an I dont like it anymore than you guys but I dont see we have a choice but to draft the best rook QB we can afford.with baker coming off a myriad of injuries an he aint gettin any younger we just have to draft a QB.a FA would be a better option IMO and they would have a pretty good chance at becoming the starter after bakers 2021 so that would be attractive.cant wait for FA.

Looks like I called it. WR1 loves Baker.

"Baker's my guy," Wilson said at the NFL Combine. "He was always a little older than me and he would come back and he coached 7-on-7. During the quarantine, we actually threw together a couple times. So I know that Baker's a great player, and we have a good relationship."

"It would be great to link up with Baker," Wilson said. "Baker's someone that did all the things that I wanted to do. Being a Heisman winner, that's stuff you can only dream about. So watching him ball when I was younger, that was really awesome.

"Having that opportunity to maybe have that happen again would be awesome."

you guys are going to say "yeah but he really separates" what?better than OBJ?
mind you juice and OBJ got over 1,000 in 2019 so we can have success.shame baker threw 21 INT's as well trying to push the ball to them.these small WR's ? put em on IR now.save us the time.I like london,burks,bell and ezukanma .all over 6'2" and 210 pounds.you can get a 6 ft under 200 pound fast WR who gained @1,000 in the 5th rd this year easily.lets just do that.a dime a dozen. rambo,heiligh,nailor,martin,thornton,roberson I could go on all day. the sheer size of my guys creates real mismatch problems for those skinny CB's.watch burks YAC.

I feel you, and you know I'm going to say it, but it's just the direction the league is going. Guys who are a little smaller but gain separation are more coveted than ever before in the modern NFL. A 6'0"-190lbs guy isn't scaring team off anymore so guys like Wilson, Olave and Williams are top prospects in a loaded draft.

Look at what Waddle (5'10-182) and Chase (6'0-201) just did as rookies.

Burks is my WR1-B because I think he's got enough athleticism to still be a factor despite being oversized, whereas I question if London has the quicks to consistently create space in the NFL.
 
I like Garrett ...but I watch every Buckeyes game and I feel more like he was benefitting from Olave and Smith-Njigba later on. Olave came into his senior season trying to prove he was the best WR in the nation, and got the attention from opposing defenses, opening up production for his counterparts. Plus, a freshman QB who wasn't looking his way as much as the vet was. Also, Olave's leadership is given a lot of credit for the growth of the WR room. We need a guy like that especially if we are losing Landry.

But I would be pretty excited for either guy. We gotta get it right.

yeah,the variable here is the QB.we have a guy who wants to throw underneath.even when a WR waves his hand for a throw over the top he still wants to throw underneath.fast,flat passes.so we need WR's who complement that.guys that can take a 17 games battering from catching balls before head on contact.in front of the D.this is also a major reason Im shaking the cage to draft or acquire some fresh talent at QB.this is a great team,a strong roster.we dont know yet how good a QB we actually need to win with this squad.we need to be a little more open minded about our QB position IMO.unless baker suddenly starts dropping dimes? I believe these (great on other teams) WR's will fail in cleveland.

you see baker throws contested catches.the proof is his INT numbers.he obviously does it more often than not.
we need a big body target.maybe london cant get lateral separation but he sure can get it vertically.not only that but also a large tough somebitch who can take the inevitable collisions bakers style provokes.
baker rarely throws his guys open.where is the most free throwing space on a football field?Its behind the D.Its the bomb,the deep ball over the top.thats not bakers style (for whatever reason) I wonder If baker suffers from myopia? seriously.

Omg the 40 times.

There is just endless speed. Even the "slow" players like George Pickens came in and recorded lightning fast times.

Olave and Wilson might have made some extra money, so I'm holding my breath at least one of them is still on the board. I'm not down on Burks for running 4.55/4.50 - that's a solid time for a guy his size.

This is an amazing year to be needing receivers.

Once again, nobody said WR makes the QB. Nobody has ever said it. We all know it's BS. So stop pretending anyone has said that. You keep doing it and it's so unbearably lame.

Thank you for making my point. Waddle had a lot of success with Tua. But Baker's much more proven and has had more success. So, yeah, we definitely can have success with a young receiver - no matter how much you pretend it isn't so.
