BARKING HARD Member Introductions and Map... Please drop in and say hello!

A Long Time Orange & Browner

I'm retired and living on the Ohio/Pa line. I've been a fan my whole life as I grew up near Youngstown & my grandfather lived in Cleveland. Can remember standing at the living room door while my father was on the roof with a pipe wrench, turning the antenna toward Stubenville or Wheeling to watch a game that was blacked out. I would yell out and tell him when the picture came in clear. Been a long time with a lot of disappointments; none as heart-breaking as the move to Baltimore. May Modell's soul never rest in peace. It has never been the same since.

Our Time Is Here

Yo everybody, I am a 45 year Cleveland Brown survivor and fanatical lover, I don't give a damn who knows it or laughs about it I will defend them until I take a dirt nap. My kids are ordered to love the Browns (lol). Seriously though like you we are a chosen lot who will enjoy the fruit in the not so distant future. For you younger lovers of the Browns we have endured all of the heartache for you so now get ready to go on a 10 to 15 year run as we return to our rightful spot on top. Just joined today and will be posting often. Don't ever give up we will dominate sooner than you realize!!

What a great memory ...hope to make some of those with my two young ones someday!

Welcome!

I'm 28 (29 on the day of this year's first preseason game)

I live in Athens, OH. With a large contingency of Browns Backers, we've dubbed every Sunday as BROWNSunday. Even in the off season, we party/tailgate and watch old Browns games.

Working at Ohio University currently. Hoping to be able to get up to the season opener, as well as the Oct 13th matchup at home against Detroit!

SofTouch

Well friends, I am softouch and my name is Peggy. I live in Dayton and I hate the Bengals. And the Steelers...and the raisins, but not necessarily in that order.

Typically I am a lurker and that is probably not going to change. I am a later in life graduate student at Ohio State which occupies a lot of my time.

I have been a member for a while now, but I had the misfortune of having a broken leg last October and spent the next 5 months in a wheelchair, some 70 days of that in a nursing facility. So I have been absent.

I am getting ready to return to school, but I will still pop in and out of here to see what all of you are saying. I love my Browns and have since I was old enough to realize there was football which has been, let's just 40 years I'm willing to admit to.

I appreciate all the nuggets of information and I wish you all the best.

Browns Fan For Life

Hello fellow fans. I'm Julie, born in Elyria, and lived in Ky for most of my life where I still reside. I was born a Browns fan, and I will die a Browns fan.

Bernie and Clay Matthews will always have a special place in my heart. In fact, during my first year teaching fourth grade, a student gave me a youth size #19 jersey, and it has hung in my classroom for twenty years.

I am married to a Bengals fan who loves to bring up 2 things: whose team has been to the Superbowl/whose hasn't and The Drive. Whatever. Browns fans are few (I am the only one besides my 2 bros and parents) in my area, so I am looking forward to reading threads and discussions about our beloved team.

My first memory of being at a Brown's game, was at a double-header in the old stadium, early 60's The browns had the second game. All went as planned and the Browns kicked off to the Steelers. Somehow they fumbled the ball, and a Brown fell on the ball in the endzone. Score 7-0 with only 7 seconds off the clock. I think that is when I became a Brown's fan for life

Dude I couldn't agree more but this time its pushing me to rethink about supporting my beloved Browns !!! I've been on the fence for 11/2 now but this is the last straw BANNER is a fucking idiot !!! Lombardi kisses His ass the 2 couldn't find there way outta a wet paper bag !!!!!! I said at beginning of season 4/6 wins if weeden plays good maybe 6/7 but he has proven he's no the QB he's is a heartless so called leader !!! Matter as fact he is no leader !! QB must be the team leader to which he ain't.. 2nd the TE's we have none yeah sure maybe Jordan will be a good one maybe ??? He drops the ball touch WR's my god wat a joke I don't like any of them except Gordon but still he has problems catching the ball !!!! The O line shit that was I thought was going to be our strong suite. Fuck Cousin s is fat slow and can't block and my god Shawartz is a laughing stock in the league he gets beat when the wind blows Zzzzzzzz and banner wasted a 2nd on his asss !!!!! We went from having the best kicking team in the league now its the worse mg Planning avg barley 30 yds and cuntiff !!! Omg I can't believe he's on the team !!!! I'm so freaking pissed. Oh yeah now we have no RB I like obannaya but hez no premier back so now no running game with no QB or WR I think we're going 0-16 !!! Mg I hope not maybe 1 win !!!!!!!! I say minn beats us 31-0 I am so dishearted I don't no wat to do but 1 thing for sure is the Browns have lost a life long rapid supporter of 40 years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can mark me down for Gaithersburg, MD, which is about halfway between Baltimore and DC. I usually check into the board whenever a Ravens, Redskins, or Broncos game is coming up, and would love to tailgate with any Barking Hard members when you are in the area.

I grew up in Manchester (Akron), but have lived in Lago Vista, TX just outside Austin for a long time now. I'll be back Thanksgiving week to watch the Browns kick the ever-loving shit out of Pittsburgh. Go Browns.
