Hello from Quebec, Canada!

I'm probably one of a few die hard fan up here in Quebec! I'm proudly wearing my Joe Thomas each time I watch a game with friends or any football-related event! I'm following the Browns since the 1999 expension. We lost the Quebec Nordiques (NHL) 4 years before and I was so happy for Cleveland to get its team back!

I'm reading you a lot but it is the first time I write here. I posted a little bit on TheBrownsBoard before.

I look forward to discuss Browns with you guys!

Hello NorthLab! I've been thinking about getting a Thomas Jersey myself. I love me some Joe! It's an exciting time with the draft coming and the new jerseys coming out. Welcome to the forum, sir!
 
Hello from Scotland in the UK

I've been a big NFL fan since watching games with my dad in the 80's when we started getting tv highlights in the UK, but I never really followed a specific team, I just liked the sport in general. After reading a book a few years ago called America's Game I just fell in Love with the Browns and I've supported them ever since.

Hope to get involved in some of the discussions soon but I've just been reading so far.

GO BROWNS!!!!

Recent convert to the Brown and Orange, from Milwaukee (sorry, but Green and Gold will always be my number one).

Looking forward to the season and following along here. Sorry if I missed it, and tried searching, but I'm traveling down for my first game in September, is there a thread for gameday travel?

Recommendations on where to sit? And what places to visit while we're down there?

I'm not sure if time will allow but The Great Lakes Science Center is there for the kids (actually, I like it too)....The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...all walking distance from the stadium. Lot's to do right there so no worries.

If you want to tailgate head to the Muni Lot....much partying there.

Hi all,

I'm Rhys. I'm 26 and from Blackwood, a small town in the South Wales valleys.

I got into the Browns through Aston Villa, which is my soccer team here in the UK. We're owned by a gentleman named Randy Lerner (sorry if that is like a swear word around here) who owned the Browns at the time and so I thought I'd give football a try. I must admit the first few matches I tried to watch just confused the hell out of me, and whilst I still kept track of the season record and our standing in the division, I couldn't properly get into NFL.

Thankfully, that changed last year when I watched the Superbowl with some friends who actually understood the sport (it's very much rugby and soccer country here, although NFL interest is growing). After what seemed like an eternity reading up online, watching youtube videos and playing Madden, I now feel like I understand the basics of the game enough that I wouldn't made an absolute idiot of myself on a board like this (well, not all the time anyway!)

Nice to meet you all, and Go Browns!!!
