Browns Pick #94, Dillon Gabriel QB, Oregon (aka, the Amari acquired pick)

Tua Tagovailoa is elite in his accuracy in the short and intermediate area of the field. It's a part of why he is able to run the offense in Miami so well, especially in the 1st half of the season. Kyler Murray is an elite athlete with the ablity to escape and create massive plays always a very real threat. It's why he was selected no. 1.

So ya, both can be elite in their areas of strength. In the NFL. Got to actually watch the games. As for Gabriel, he's way more athletic than Tua with a stronger arm. He's way better in the pocket and is more accurate than Kyler with less TOs. He is not as accurate or as good a processor as Tua. He is nowhere near as good an athlete as Kyler or has as strong an arm. He is shorter than Tua, but taller than Kyler. It's a good comp. Kind of a mix of the two.

Neither one are anything close to Elite. The fact Gabriel is drawing comparisons to either of those scrubs says it all.

I'm just going to laugh when DG proves y'all wrong. And then the "geniuses" will act like they knew all along. Gabriel is an immediate notice on film. I think the fact that there has not been a more serious discussion about his abilities vs. Sanders says everything about what this page has become.

For those of us who like football, I wish I was more aware of Gabriel before draft season. I think he's easily QB2 in this Draft, only behind Cam Ward.

broseph, in a vaccum yes,hes a fantastic QB.1st rd even.he had literally a top 5 O-line in the NCAA.
they were ranked #4 behind bama, georgia and LSU and #5 in 2024.easily the best in the BIG10 both years.
lets see how he preforms in cleveland vs the ravens and steelers with our line and real NFL pressure.
the hit on sanders is he takes too long in the pocket?watch the DG tape.he takes 4-eva.
Im not sayin he cant be good.Im sayin hes trained and prepared to play with an elite line.
thats going to mean learning the game again.I wish him much luck and success.
hard to do.

Well I tell ya what, I've been on this page since day 1 and been calling it regarding QB's at a 90% success rate since day 1.

Gabriel is a Manlet who looked good on a stacked team. The experts say his ceiling is Kellen Moore. His drafts projection was somewhere in the 6th or 7th round, just like DePudpullers other QB reach Deshonne Kizer. You're reaching like crazy to compare him to two other career back ups in an effort to promote him as a legitimate NFL caliber QB.

That literally says it all, right there. His floor is Colt McCoy and his ceiling Kellen Moore. A scrub. A bum. Camp fodder.

The discussion is Sanders because Sanders has the tools, Dildo McGabriel doesn't.

Dildo reminds me more of Kizer.. a complete zero Colt at least had decent career as a back up QB..

sanders is used to running for his life and making things happen. unscripted unplanned amazing things.
does it fit with our OFF? honestly not really but the very best QB's today are scramblers. thats not a runner.
thats a guy who moves enough to make a play happen and is not concerned with "pocket integrity"
and who doesn't really run downfield.mahomeboy, love and hurts are great examples of this "new" style.
If he can play this scrambling streetball style well? he'll drive his coaches insane and be our starter.
high hopes for this kid.DG is classic pocket.thats why we drafted him for our "vikings" OFF.he will get hurt.
early and often.
