Browns The 2025 hunt for a QB

Tomlin is like every other HC. When you have the QB, you have a chance. When you don't, people will clown you.

Bill B with TB12, great. Without, meh.
A. Reid with McNabb, average. With Mahomes, great.
Z. Taylor with Burrow, great. Without, 3-5 wins.

On and on. We need to keep stuffing the QB room until we hit.

T.J. Watt for 1

I'm guessing you don't care for Mike. but 18 years with no losing seasons. not a bad record. Bill's players been gone for years now.
TJ Watt was NFL ready out of College so no, he didn't.

I neither like nor dislike Tomlin. Facts are facts. The fact still remains that Mike Tomlin inherited a team that was built by Bill Cowher, injected and beefed up by Dr. Richard Rydze, that had already won a Super Bowl right before he showed up that he in turn was carried as the coach to a few more Super Bowls with. On that regard, he is the Black Barry Switzer.

Post Cowher players era, he has shown he is Marvin Lewis with a better GM. If you draft NFL ready starters for him, like TJ Watt, he can string together 8 and 9 win seasons consistently, but unless you stack the team with juiced up Pro Bowlers at almost every position and a HOF Quarterback? He isn't moving beyond those 8 or 9 wins. That's his natural ceiling.

Again, their Defense(and run game) won a SB. Naturally the QB was named SB MVP, they always are. Lastly, if your "QB" had more rushing yards than the RB's in the game? You have a running back, not a quarterback.
KOK is another of a long line of Browns fans who don't understand winning football. Jayden Daniels led the Commanders in rushing last season. Does that make him a running back? If Stefanski had Hurts at QB, we'd win the division. But of course, as another ignorant Browns fan, you'd say Hurts isn't good enough to be the Browns QB. Too funny.

enjoy Kenny Pickett
Carry on the hating
I Don't care for Pittsburg this much

Name me one single player that Mike Tomlin has developed as a HC. Just one. I'll wait.....

Right, the answer is zero. He has been riding the hype train over inheriting Cowhers players and the zebras hand holding him into the Super Bowl. With Cowhers players.

Mike Tomlin is incapable of developing or coaching up good players into great players, and every great player Pittsburg has lucked into drafting ultimately ends up walking.
Name me one single head coach who "develops" players in the NFL? Tomlin is a defensive coach. His defenses are most always top 10 in the league.

Remind me again who played football all the way into College and Arena Football? Oh, right. That wasn't your Texas hillbilly ass.

I've forgotten more about Football than you'd ever be able to comprehend in that slow Texan brain of yours.

A Quarterbacks job is to throw the football, not run the ball like a RB. Despite the SJW NFL Media pressuring that estrogen filled Cuck Roger Goodell into repeatedly changing the rules to accommodate glorified running backs at the QB position because they were that desperate to have a successful Black QB.

You're clueless Marty McDipshit. Always have been, always will be.

Exhibit 4,521 of why you are fucking clueless about the game of football.

Every single Head Coach in the NFL is expected to, and it is their job to develop players on their roster.

You keep cucking yourself and making excuses for the homie, though.

As I asked and you have not answered, name one NFL head coach who "develops" players? You can credit great position coaches like Bill Callahan with developing players. And some ex position coach now head coach will teach players in their expertise, but I honestly don't think it's the head coach's job (especially if they're a career defensive coach, like Tomlin) to "develop" QBs or any offensive players. As usual, you're full of bullshit and no substance. Head coaches develop culture. Position coaches develop players.

Oh, sorry, I bow to your incredible career and the knowledge it has brought you. Though I suspect you took a few too many hits to the head and are now haunted by delusions of grandeur.

"A Quarterback's job is to throw the ball." Perhaps the dumbest thing you've ever written. Probably not. A QB's job is to lead the offense by doing whatever it takes to win.

Anytime you want to step up and run your mouth say the word, Marty. I'll be down in Austin next week on a business trip.

Of course it's part of a HC job to develop players. 🤦 Andy Reid? All the greats.
Andy Reid
Bill Cowher
Bill Belichek
Tom Landry
Bill Parcels
Sean Payton

The list can go on for miles. That's part of their job.

As usual, Marty McDumbfuck runs his clueless beta male mouth about a subject he has zero experience or knowledge on. As usual he is made into the utter fucking fool that he is, was and forever will be.

Andy Reid, offensive scheme genius, and yeah, QBs. His specialty. Like I said ex-position coaches turned head coaches can develop players in their specialty.
Cowher? Culture developer, not a player coach in any way.
Belichick, culture builder and defensive player developer and defensive scheme creator extraordinaire, sure.
Landry? What? He was not a player developer. Culture setter? yeah, big time.
Parcels? Culture, big time. Not known for player development at all. More of a player career terminator than player developer. Dude is brutal.
Payton, QB coach who's good at developing QBs and offensive scheme.

Great head coaches develop culture and scheme.
Great position coaches develop players.
Most great players develop themselves.

You talk way too much shit for one of the biggest pussies I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with. You don't know shit, but like to talk big man on the internet. Business trip in Austin? Don't make us laugh. You've developed a reputation. Congrats. Just another fucking dumbass.
