I see the Browns D with free runners to Sanders too and the player damn near stops in front of Sanders and watches him throw the ball. This isn't a Gabriel issue. It's a rookie issue and/or a QB issue.

even though that pick 6 wasn’t his fault it’s still a stat line

We’re talking backup qbs at this point.

We have a real chance of winning if Flacco plays average.
If we could just get a swan song out of Flacco we’re crushing all the media etc.

Do we Really want that ?
win 7 to 9 games miss the playoffs and draft @ 10-13th pick. if we win that much let it be with Sanders then we got a future with him.

I'm thinking like this:
I think the Browns are going to the playoffs.
The Browns have already cleaned out and reloaded the QB room.
I couldn't care less which team picks Manning in '27.
The Browns' QBs of the future are already on the roster.
Joe, Shedeur and, Dillon. I expect all three to be wearing Browns helmets in '25 and '26.
It wouldn't surprise me if Joe is back for another season in '26 if he's capable.
If Berry and Stef decide they want to keep Pickett it will require some interesting roster gymnastics.
Realistically, Pickett will need to start next if he's going to stay.
We all know Huntley is in the category of camp arm/practice squad material.
Dillon is looking like a left handed rookie Drew Brees only an inch shorter. One inch.
Which is nothing to sneeze at.
He's not a sure thing but he already looks better than DTR who also appeared yesterday in an Eagles helmet.
The wild card in all this is that Watson guy.
The one who's still getting a piece of the pie that's way beyond what he's earned.
Berry would be wise to quietly discard him next season with the knowledge that he's not going to go hungry.
