Browns Pick #144, Sheduer Sanders, QB, Colorado

Also.
I hope to God Jimmy is not calling shots for the Browns at the QB position.
I hope he has learned to avoid making roster decisions.
I hope he knows to just write the checks and let the FO do it's job without his interference, imposition or input.

If I'm Jimmy, and I own the damn team, you're darn right I get "say".
Sometime in November or December, you put in Shedeur.
You've already signed two vets, traded them both, then over-drafted a little fella, who after 63 college starts, you're telling me "he needs time".

Put. Him. In.

;)

Agree, BUT, that's far from a scientific process.
Of course, I baselessly believe the "not ready" is an excuse just to keep the pecking order in order.
I have zero evidence of this.

==================

Owner's weighing in ...

So everything is as it was intended to be. Dillon starts first. At some point Sanders will start after him.

If what MKC is true then it bodes very well that when Sanders can grasp the playbook as well as read a defense not just pre-snap, but post snap and he can make proper OLine calls, and do all of that at an NFL level then he'll start.

If we're really lucky he'll be a great QB for us into the future.

Never been a fan of Mary. or her word salads. Sheduer has been feed football all his life by pro's. at this level he's not going to get 4-5 seconds to throw. that HE must fix. read D's takes time and playing the games. they call it the game slowing down. sure film study help's.

I've seen enough of QB#41 we could of picked a real player at that spot.

If I'm the Jets, I would trade Wilson for Sanders straight-up in a heartbeat. You save money while taking a swing at your biggest problem, which is the QB position.
