This is fantastic timing for the Haslams.
Neither New York team plays in NYC, the LA teams share a stadium, the Chiefs are changing states, and now the Bears may change states as well.
And some, not any here I don't think, whined and complained about being 7 miles from the Cleveland city limits.
Jimmy is totally redoing the Berea training facility and is getting it done in Brook Park with zero involuntary public dollars, as the 600mil is a loan, and all taxes will be via on-site product sales. In other words, if you're paying the taxes to help the new stadium, it's because you chose to go the game, and you chose to pay for that $15 hot dog.
As I said in another thread, I did a Browns lockeroom tour yesterday. Perhaps some of you have too.
The player experience (parking, entrance, lockeroom, etc) has to be very below average compared to the newer NFL stadiums and the newer college lockerooms. Looks like something from the 1970’s.
Once the new Berea complex and dome happen, the “visiting free agent experience” is about to take a MASSIVE leap forward.
Not a dome-post, but, another sign downtown CLE will a-ok. See below, the lower part of the image. The pic also shows where COSM is being built. Good bird's eye view.
Bedrock, Rock Entertainment Group and Live Nation are teaming up on plans for a 6,200-seat amphitheater on Cleveland's riverfront, meant for concerts, festivals and other events.
