Hey all, Im Mike, 25 years old Navy sailor. I've got another 10 months or so on active duty and then I'll more than likely be moving to D.C. to get a related federal job or to get another degree. I'm married so sorry single hot ladies posting under the disguise of middle aged, browns fanatic men!!

I'm going to make it a point to hit every home game and every game in Baltimore or D.C. when I get out. I've only been to a few games recently because of deployments over the past few years but there were a few memorable ones (Snow Bowl vs Buffalo in 07!!!). It's also hard to catch a game because the armed forces network refuses to EVER play Browns games... A contractor I'm good friends down here in Cuba has a Direct TV subscription and lets me watch all the games at his place so I've got the hook up this year (although it's been tough taking shit everytime they lose!)

I came here in the beginning when everyone split from the DA/Quinn wars at the OTHER forum, but kind of disappeared because this site took too long to load on the ship... The OTHER forum has a Lo-Fi version so I stuck with that to keep up with everything. I'm mildly depressed with the Browns right now but I still read what goes on here usually... Can't say I'm too excited for the rest of the season.

I take a lot of shit for being a Browns fan but loyalty is something my Dad taught me and I consider it a pretty important thing.

I'm here till the bitter end, Go Browns.

My top priorities:
Get some WR's
Bench Abe Elam
Stop blitzing so many DB's and leaving Wright on an island, he's sinking captain!
AYAYAYYYY!!

Huge fan of Strat-O-Matic PC football and have over 10,000 posts at Strat-O-Matic Fan Forum under the same name.
My favorite seasons in Strat by far are the Jim Brown years, 1979, 1985, and an allstar Browns set released a few years ago.
I also love photography and will be adding photo albums to my profile regularly.
Glad to meet you all!!

That's me, and my best friend in the world, also an avid Browns fan.

Hello again, Evil here. EE for short or you can call me by my given name, Bryce, if you're feeling so inclined. I'm a Canuck, and also a Canucks fan. I chose the Browns (not unlike choosing your first Pokemon) when I got bored of watching CFL football and I haven't looked back, I feel like I'm more legitimate now that I've joined this board and climbed up the ranks. I tell it how I see it and I like to avoid a lot of the BS that seems to come and go.

BTW Welcome to all the new members.

Hello all, my name is Derek.

I'm 23 and currently in my senior year at Kent State for a 2+2 Computer Technology Degree with a concentration in Computer Networking. Been a Browns fan as far as I can remember. I can still remember when I was about 5 or 6 and my mom bought me one of those football costumes of Neil O'Donnell and my dad took it back the next day for a Browns one.

I frequent another board and some of you may have seen me on there. As far as the new hire goes... I was unhappy that Mangini got canned, I felt he deserved one more year but that's the NFL. That being said, I do like the Shurmur hire, in a way... I like that we didn't go out and get the flash in the pan HC or the big name candidate. I like that this guy is a young coordinator who is hungry to be a HC and I think that will benefit us.

I look forward to chatting up Browns football with everyone!

Hello fellow Barkers,

My name is Phil. I was born in Bedford, OH. Bedford is just SE of C-Town. Lived in Twinsburg until I was 6 then moved to Stuart, FLA. Once there I never gave up my love for Cleveland sports. I played Football, Basketball and Baseball at catholic private schools up until 9th grade and then my parents moved back to Twinsburg where I finished out my Highschool years and played football and basketball for the Twinsburg's Tigers. After Highschool I went to Kent State for one year and decided to join the United States Marine Corps. While in the Marine Corps I served two tours to afghanistan and one tour to Iraq. I also served as a Drill Instructor as Parris Island and a Sergeant Instructor at the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School. In 2009 I decided it was time to get out after 10 years. I now live in Stafford, VA. just south of DC. I am married with three kids. I graduated from Averett University with a degree in Business Administration and a Masters in Logistics Management. I now work for a DoD agency do things I cannot discuss and absolutely LOVE IT! Lastly, I wil never give up on the Browns. We have had our time of living in the duldrums of loserville. It is pretty evident the we are rebuilding again, but I am okay with as long as the Walrus stays the course and continues to build a franchise and not just try to plug holes. Plugging holes is what got us where we are at today. I like the Shurmdog and the potential he possesses. I like our offense, just need some outside threats and a smart game plan. Shurmur has the tools to get Colt where he needs to be. I wish we would have kept Rob Ryan, but that is water under the bridge. Dave Wannedstat or Dick Jauron work! Dick Jauron is as much a genius as Dick LeBeau on the defensive side of the ball. In the draft we need to address the other corner with Prine Amukamara, or a top flite receiver like AJ Green. We also need to address a partner in crime for TJ Ward. A pass rusher or two would be nice. Casey Matthews would be ideal and nastolgic. A front side tackle on the O line and a Running Back to fulfill the hardesty woes. Imagine the offense with Peyton Hillis and Mark Ingram in the back field. Freaky! But we do need a receiver but I think you could get one in free agency that would get us by until the 2012 Draft. Well enough of my rambling. Look forward to hearing your points of views and opinions. Out!
