BARKING HARD Member Introductions and Map... Please drop in and say hello!

I'm all for building the community here so if we want to organize some kind of map I'll be happy to sticky this thread. I'll also edit the thread title as well. Lets see if more people are interested in inputting to the project before we go ahead and give it the sticky though.

Maybe a Google maps integrated type thing that kinda dots where we are all from?

I'm just starting classes on the techy programming stuff so I ain't capable of making it happen...yet.

Or possibly a Flash application?

Just tossing out ideas.

What's the deal? You bragging about your Frequent Poster award? :)
No, not at all Cliff.

It just seems that it would be awfully hard to basically make a map for all the users who aren 't active.
Heck, they maybe wanted to try this forum out, but soon found out they like some more troll filled forums.

On the other hand, we might get to know some new Browns fans, I think anybody who 's active, and who wants to tailgate, is allowed to leave their location and other information. The map WILL BE UPDATED.

This is an example, and I think it will be hard to do it, but the reward and the sense of accomplishment is totally worth it.

So another little test map, I screwed up a bit with jaydog, and I 'm not as thorough as there are not as many people involved.

It 's about the map not additional info, you can 't drive a car if it doesn 't have an engine.

I like the map, although you might have to blow up NE Ohio eventually.

I'm from BFE, and I'm standing in a Howard Johnson's wearing a pink carnation.

(I'm betting nobody gets that movie reference, maybe because it's not completely accurately quoted)

I am well aware of that, was thinking about 3 maps, and since forum members aren 't rushing it, I 'm having a little fun with it by making test maps and etc.

Sorry that I 'm a :dickhead:, but BFE means nothing to me since I have no clue what it is.
An explanation would be appreciated.

Oh, just a joke.(Bum Fuck Egypt - aka in the middle of no where)

Bellefontaine, Ohio - we have more cows than stoplights
(about an hour west of Columbus. Claim to fame - the highest point in Ohio)

A few years back I had a map that recorded everyones location automatically, and it showed at the bottom of the forum. It was too laggy, so I nixed it. There are many sites out there that will do this for you though.

Although not with the members names.

I'm in Punta Gorda, Florida.

I'm technically in L.A. or "Hollywood" because I'm in the biz... but I live way up north in Westlake Village, directly across from Zuma Beach. It's green and hilly/mountain-ey up here, so different when you're driving north on the 101 and pass Las Virgenes (which is Malibu Canyon Rd. when it hits the PCH at Pepperdine).

If anything, I'd like to get even further out. I've learned to appreciate the natural beauty and ease of living enough to endure the drives.

Oh, and the direct canyon roads to the beach (meaning Malibu) are actually worth the 10 miles. Amazing beauty, like driving through the middle of Oahu.

I love nature, get the sam feeling as you when I drive with my motorboat when I am on vacation.

Croatian coast, green islands, scent of pine and salt, probably the best sunset in the world.

It 's nice around here, but it isn 't as nice when you are in a more cityesque environment.
