Ken here. Born 1967. Native Clevelander, living in Lakewood. Works for a nonprofit association downtown. Browns fan since the late 70s. Erased all the Browns songs I taped off the radio after the 1980 Kardiac Kids lost to Oakland. Went to my first Browns game in 1982 (home game against Eagles before the strike) and never recovered. Cried after the 1986/87 losses to Denver but I would trade today's Browns in a heartbeat for those seasons. Offered my fax machine in 1995 for use by family and friends to send letters to the NFL HQ to keep the Browns name, colors, history etc here after Modell said he couldn't afford to own an NFL team in Cleveland anymore. Held my 32nd b-day party on the night the new Browns returned to the field in Canton in 1999 and beat Dallas. It's been mostly downhill ever since. But I remain generally optimistic that the drought will end in my lifetime.

Dawgfan is back

Hey everyone, Dawgfan here. Been a while and life has thrown me a few curveballs. I am now in Naples Florida. Here's to hoping this year is the start to some great things personally and, more importantly, the BROWNS!

GO BROWNS!!!

Hi, my name is Mick, live in Mansfield, Ohio, originally from Cleveland. Fan of the Browns, Cavs, and Indians, and OSU football. I'm a draft freak, can't get enough draft talk, and plan to come up with a group May 8th to watch the first round in the Cleveland area somewhere. I'm 41, single, and one 8 year old daughter with mild Autism. I work at a local factory, and car audio and golf are my two other passions. (I was a car audio custom installer in Akron for 9 years, and in Medina for another 7) Anyways, glad to be a part of the forum, been reading/lurking on it the past few months!

Never did this when I signed up, so I might as well now.

My name is Travis, born and raised in Columbus. Recently graduated from college and actively looking for a career in sports. My ultimate goal is to be an on-air talent, either as a sports radio host, tv host, or commentator. But I enjoy all of the other facets as well: producing, editing, directing, camera, promotions, so on and so forth.

I was more of an NFL fan growing up than Browns since they didn't exist when my interest in the NFL came around, until several years ago. Still enjoy following the entire league, but I (painfully) love my Browns. Been a Buckeyes and Indians fan since I was born, plus I follow the Blue Jackets and Cavs.

Outside of sports, I'm a big gamer, particularly RPG's, and I love beer. One of my favorite things to do is hang out at World of Beer and watch whatever game is on that night. Bit expensive of a hobby, but so is gaming, hence why I need a career, haha.

Well that's a small bit about me, glad to be on board with everyone, and I hope no one gets too offended by my snarky, snippy, sarcastic tone I tend to use. It wouldn't be posting on a forum if I wasn't, though.

Hi everyone,

I'm a guy in my late twenties, have a wife and a little girl which is year and a half old. I live in Europe, Belgrade (Serbia) to be precise.

I got into NFL in the early 2000s when the first broadcasts started here. I can't say I had a team I cheered for. At first I just took every game separately and cheered for whomever I thought was the underdog usually. Then I watched the game in the POs when Browns played the Steelers, Holcomb threw for like 400+ yards, but they still lost to Maddox led Steelers. I really cheered for them during that game, and started liking them afterwards. Wasn't much too watch afterwards though, since all of the bad years (hopefully this one is start of something better)

I have to say that I followed 49ers a bit in the NFC, mostly because I cheered for Alex Smith to turn it all around, but in the end it didn't happen in San Francisco. And I really started not caring about 49ers, because I can't stand Harbaugh as a person, and Kaepernick for that matter (the latter represents everything I believe sport shouldn't become).

There you go. I hope you will have some understanding, since I'm not tied to the city of Cleveland and my journey of finding a team was a bit longer and had some distractions on the bumpy road. :)

Cheers.

Welcome, Sharpshooter. No need to worry about ties to the city of Cleveland, we have guys here from just about every corner of the world. I'm Australian and the NFL started broadcasting around 2000 here as well which is cool because so many people around the world were drawn to the Browns. Always nice to have another international lad around!

Old fan, new member

Hello to all my fellow Browns fans. Iam new to the site. Iam a long time Browns fan. 35 + years now, I live in Phila. Reason i like the Browns were because of the colors. I always liked the color brown ever since i was a young kid. And as i got older, was learning about the NFL teams, i selected the Browns because the team colors really struck me. Then i just began learning about the team, and its history, and some of the NFL's true legends were from the Browns. Iam a collector of Browns memorbilia, and NFL items as well. I have a collection of Browns football cards that go back to 1959 to 2013. Just over 70 games on dvd, figures, diecast, player photo's. I met the great #44, Leroy Kelly just over 10 yrs ago, and he signed my Browns mini-helmet.
Looking forward to seeing how the Browns will be wearing new designed uniforms for the 2015 season. I also look forward to hearing and corresponding to all fellow Browns fans.
