Browns New dome progress thread

The only thing I like about the current stadium is it's on the water.

Otherwise, traffic/egresses suck, parking blows, downtown walkability is poor, etc etc.

10,000+ parking spaces, a brand spankin new place, and adequate highways will be such an improvement.

On top of the Berea Freeway, St Rt 17, the Rapid line direct from Hopkins Airport and maybe even an Amtrack line. The CSX lines that Amtrack uses are right behind the new stadium too.

Yep, and thanks the the Ford plant, even the electricity needed is in place. Soooo many practical things that line up.

Love this promo vid:

High voltage lines as well as plumbing & drainage for that 80 ft deep pit. Abram's Creek is not far away and it drains into the Rocky River. It can alleviate a retention pond. If it's allowed. Not sewage. Just parking lot and field runoff.

Just to stand there and watch a game in freezing weather and a bit of wind, I said no to that in like 1981. I was a young man at the time.
I had worked games in the past selling beer and hot dogs. at least you were busy. and could get it done in the concourse.

Being downtown was ok with us. we never moved too far from there 10-15 minutes.
If they had built a dome last century it would've made it harder for us to of left town back then.
