Btw, KS just said in a recent interview, I forget which one atm, that playing against the Ohio State Buckeyes is a good test of a QB because their defense is similar to defenses in the NFL. I think the discussion surrounded Dillon Gabriel's success when he beat OSU, but I'm not sure.While the Big 12 isn't the Big 10 or the SEC, it's not devoid of talented teams. K-State was pretty darn good. And AZ State. He didn't play against Div II talent the last two years.
The point is that playing against the top 5,6, or seven teams is a better evaluation of a player as opposed to teams that don't make it into the playoffs. Playoff perennial teams like Alabama, OSU, LSU Georgia, Texas, Oregon and the like.
