Pick #35 Nick Chubb

Watched all of Chubb's games this morning. I love how he has few negative yardage plays. He is great between the tackles and turns nothing into something more often than not. That can be a lot more valuable in the NFL than Saquon's open field running.

Absolutely. Crowell was great at open field running. If open field running was what we needed, we could have kept the Crow. The back I want is one that can get three yards when everybody in the Stadium knows we are going to run the ball.

Love the Chubb pick, my second favorite pick, besides Mayfield. This kid can break a 60 yarder+ at any time, runs tough between the tackles, great balance and bounce it outside quickly.

That will be Chubb. I don't have the link at the moment, but I read somewhere he was at the top in yards after contact...we just gotta make sure he's not getting hit in the back field.

Also lends itself to Dorsey bringing in OLine help. The type of OLine guys who will be tough & physical at the LOS allowing Chubb get those two and three yards when everyone knows it's coming. Not to mention a physical run blocking TE in Fells who was given a three year contract.

Atta boy. Well done. Super nice. Not over the top.

Hey Bill Polian, if the unique Osweiler trade of 2017 results in drafting ROTY in 2018, what say you?

Pete Smith said Chubb just looks way more impressive than Hyde. Not a knock on Hyde, just a reminder that Chubb was the generational back before Barkley, pre-injury.

Now he's 100%. Look out.

More like we paid $16 million dollars for the right to draft Nick Chubb. Osweiler can just be cut from the equation.

So if Chubb is as good as some are predicting he can be, we can consider that the Browns paid $16 million just to draft him!

And it was money that otherwise would have sat fallow in the bank account of a billionaire who couldn't care less whether it was spent or not. There is ZERO way to argue that it was money not well spent when it wouldn't have been spent otherwise.

I've heard nothing, but good things about Chubb on CBD. Zegura said he looks like he can be a generational RB. It's early and a lot can happen, but he looks that good. Tough to bring down and has some wiggle with power.

Just get better at catching the ball. If he does that it's over.

im on this bandwagon with as bad of knee injury as he had. many players said they havent felt back to themselves until the 2nd year after.

if chubb is back to 90-95% of what he was before the injury he might be the steal of the draft.

one thing about Dorsey he can spot good CB's and RB's he has a good track record with that and if he thinks chubb is legit watch out.

He was (allegedly) at 90% or so last year and was amazing. If not for the injury history, he would've been right there in the conversation with Barkley.

He's 100% now and, like you said, two years separated from surgery with no setbacks. I think the Browns got a top half of round one back with the 35th pick. Some really, really shrewd drafting by Dorsey. Chubb, Callaway, and Avery in particular seem like they were drafted rounds below their value.
