I really thought this was an out of left field "meh" pick.
We needed a QB soooo bad and we traded back for a DT.
I wasn't bummed, but didn't jump up and down either.
This guy couldn't stop smiling yesterday. He was having a ball. The entire D was for that matter.
We've said/read it before. DL lineman need the most time to adapt to the NFL game.

I wasn't a fan of the pick because we needed a QB, and because he was a run stuffing DT which you can find throughout the draft. I am happily wrong, he is a beast. Kudos to Jim Schwartz for talking Jimmy into overriding Shabbaz Al-Berry's DEI roster mandate and giving the kid a shot.

Schwartz is a great coach, and part of that is player development. I am leaning towards Schwartz as HC now that Vrabel is out of the picture.

I'd be fine with that. It's hard to tell about Rees as OC, but I'd be willing to keep him too.

If/when Stefanski goes, agree. Schwartz and also the best damn OC we can find.
Rees would work for a bit, but he has his eye heavily on the HC track via college.
I kinda hate that one of the smartest things Sanders did yesterday, was play Kevin's game approach of "mistake free football" rather than "going for it". Sanders did a nice job of mixing it, and while the timly throw-aways may really get Stefanski's juices flowing, we all loved the bombs.
The throw to Bond in the face of a full blitz was the play of the year to date.
