I can see why. He's not mistake prone. He functions well in the pocket. Has a good arm. His big issue is his height. But there isn't a glaring whole in his game.
You're kidding, right? Do you think someone would give us a 1st for Sanders?Would you trade Sanders for a 1st rd pick, right now? I
Who's going to do that ?Would you trade Sanders for a 1st rd pick, right now? It means flipping a 5th round pick into a 1st round pick. Unheard of in the NFL or at least very rarely done. It also means we are looking at next year's draft for our QBOTF and we own the 1st round.
Let’s not get too crazy.Neither Sanders nor Gabriel is a "developmental" QB. Both had 40+ starts in college.
Yes they both are developmental.Neither Sanders nor Gabriel is a "developmental" QB. Both had 40+ starts in college.
Sorry, both these guys have played enough high-level football to be ready to learn and run an NFL offense. And both have demonstrated they can run the offense effectively, neither looks lost. That doesn't mean they are ready to do well in a real NFL game, or that they don't have a ton to learn. But both have played way too much football to be considered a "developmental" QB.Let’s not get too crazy.
Obviously first round placement is
Wild placement
Can’t wait see you wit?
There's a difference. A guy who doesn't have a lot of starts in college or ran an option like offense but shows potential is often drafted as a "developmental QB," meaning he doesn't have the craft down and needs to learn from the ground up and is not expected to play for a few years. You're saying that they aren't "ready to do well in a real NFL game" and "they have a ton to learn", but that they're not developmental?
