Browns Pick #94, Dillon Gabriel QB, Oregon (aka, the Amari acquired pick)

Even if Gabriel is the lesser of two evils what are we doing here?!!

Let's get a look at Sanders and get an NFL evaluation on him. I don't expect any great change, but neither of these guys is likely to be our starter next year. If by chance he plays really well it helps.

There's plenty of time for Sanders to get his shot. I've seen all of Gabriel I ever care to see for my entire life, but if Kev wants to give him a couple of more starts, so be it. At this point, I can't imagine Stefanski back next season, but I'm lost as to why he thinks Gabriel can be a decent NFL QB. And if by some chance Sanders plays great (or at least good), I don't want Stefanski, who clearly doesn't have any confidence in him, coaching him next season.

First it was an Okoro reference and now Pat Fucking Shurmur?!! To talk about poor coaching??!

no way gtfo GIF by Utah Jazz

Or he is really stinking it up in practice.
Or Stefanski think Gabriel is playing pretty well.

I have no ideas anymore.
If Stefanski is thinking Gabriel is playing well he needs fired yesterday. Anyone with even a basic football knowledge can see that Gabriel is playing like shit.

As for Sanders... There's no way he is so bad in practices that Dillon fucking Gabriel is outshining him. Nah, no way he is THAT horrendous. DG makes Charlie Fry look like Joe Montana in comparison, Brady Quinn look like Aaron Rodgers and Colt McCoy look like Steve Young.

It's impossible that a first round graded prospect is THAT BAD in practice that a competent HC goes "yeah, I have no choice but to keep playing Dillon Gabriel."

If the "Light" hasn't gone on by now... Chance are it never will.. DG might make a better position coach than a player down the road..

Per the insiders: The coaches were “very disappointed” in Gabriel’s lack of vision and missed opportunities.

Also, they feel Sanders is “not quite there yet, but progressing”. He’s close.

lol. Lack of vision happens when you can see above the people in front of you. DG has a very small window and its closing quickly.

Whether SS is the answer we don’t know but you are what your record says you are.

Very affordable seats this week…. 4:25 start time is brutal for a bad team.
