The 2016 NBA Finals Warriors vs. Cavaliers

I think he wants the Cavs to be like the Yankees and be awesome year in and year out; damn the cost/salary cap.

Dolans should take note of how every game is sold out. It's because we as fans go to the games expecting to win and if we don't it's like...alright what went wrong as opposed to...well we really can't compete with this team or that team.

Also Haslam with the Browns. But it's football. It's the best game ever! And we'll always get close to a sellout even with a shitty team.

Love isn't overrated as I look at him; he's been largely misused until very, very recently. He needs touches on the blocks, at the elbow/short wing in addition to spotting up/stretching the defense. He's also not versatile enough to fit every line-up structure (i.e., "small ball") so I would expect his minutes to vary in certain playoff series.

He is an exceptional rebounder, passer, outlet passer, and scorer (from 3 point range in). He's also been a top flight team mate by all reports considering how much he is used as a foil and how difficult his "fitting in" has been.

He'll play a bunch Friday if he's healthy. If the small ball lineup is working again with RJ at the 3, Bron at the 4, and TT at the 5 I would expect him to rotate with TT some at the small-ball 5 spot. We give up TT's better mobility on the defensive end and relentless offensive rebounding but pick up another floor spacer, scoring threat on the offensive end with that switch.

All comes down to defense; as LeBron knows and talks about all the time. Looking forward to Friday night.

Love plays 0 defense.. give Me Durant NOW!

Fuckin A!!! On two counts. Yes it is a sweater vest and K Love is playing the good soldier coming off he bench!!

LET'S O CAVS!!!

Ya know.. I realize the Cavs are under manned on the Defensive frontline.. I understand all of that. But jesus christ I'm beginning to think it's all fixed with the NBA referees.. I'm watching the game yesterday.. And it was like GS was playing at home.. they let LeBrick get hammered in his own building and no calls.. then call a fake loose ball foul on the Cavs on the other end.. Yo refs.. your were presiding in Cleveland last night . not dump town Oakland. Wheres the effin hometown calls last night?.. These refs are betting on GS or getting paid off by the NBA some extra ducketts. call it consistenly.. Someone should tell Tyronn Lue when its not getting called right.. Take your players of the court and stop playing the game in protest and tell the NBA go take a big FU.

I think it was a damned difficult game to referee. It was phisical over the limit and after all they committed errors on both sides.
How can LeBron not be a factor in a key game like this. His numbers were good (triple double or so) but he played bad all the key balls he had.
Kyrie was outstanding, Love non-existing and LeBron confusing. And we proved we do not have a coach. GS made adjustments on defense and they ended up winning the game, while we showed we don't have a b-plan other than "give the ball to LeBron/Kyrie and pray he'll score".
I'm so f***ing disappointed.

Yeah losing that game with hero ball is just a shame. I think it's been firmly established that there is a new recipe for winning at this point and it involves sharing the ball, getting open looks and taking GOOD shots. Pissing the game away like they did last night... there's just no words I can think to describe it. LeBron, who by all counts runs the floor out there, should have known better. It cost them the game and probably the series. Blame the refs if you want, but LeBron and the Cavs lost this game. They were not screwed.

If the cavs lose .. fine.. but I think the game deserves fair and trusting officiating..

I don't disagree at all Nickers. IMO Basketball is the easiest of any of the major sports to influence with officiating and we've even discussed the idea of a fixed league in the past. Make no mistake, IMO, the GSW are the "golden boys" of this Modern NBA and they want a modern Dynasty to be able to gush over and jerk off too in the media to boot. It just sucks that Cleveland has to be the Malone/Stockton Jazz of this equation.

We ran out of gas late in the 3rd. GS rested to start the 4th, we couldn't.

The game was intense and insanely physical. They stuck to their rotation. That's their plan. They wear you out and beat you in the 4th.

That's a damn good team we're playing.

Tough Task

Being in the Finals 2 years in a row pretty cool. when this started July 11 2014 I thought and LBJ said the P word
I’m not promising a championship. I know how hard that is to deliver. We’re not ready right now. No way. Of course, I want to win next year, but I’m realistic. It will be a long process, much longer than it was in 2010. My patience will get tested.

Last nights game was the most physical game I've seen in years on both sides. we lost it by missing too many FT's and a couple of 3's. we play @ our averages at those 2 areas it's a different out come. there were missed calls everywhere we did not get enough of them I'll concur.

Now we must win 3 games in a row...........tough task for sure
Go Cavs

Let's just concentrate on the game at hand and play our asses off. We showed we could do it. We got the right guys to do it.

That last game we just started to give up open looks in the 3rd quarter and we tired out after that .
Ya can't do that against a good team let alone a championship quality team. I hope the guys learned to bring it every time on offense and defense...EVERY TIME!!!

Stepping up

Well one thing for sure our guys didn't lay down and roll over. as a fan we can't ask for more.

Can they win 2 more ? they think they can. how many times have we read a Cleveland fan say " if we ever win a Title it will be dramatic" looking to move this needle from 0-32 to 1-32.... that would be it.

Love could/would not shoot much going 1-5 with only 3 rebounds. yet he held his own 33 minutes finishing a +18, that is just hard to imagine before the game.good for him.

Happy Cavs Fan I am.

I made Greek food for dinner before last night's game, my godmother's dolmathes recipe (a native of Crete, lived through the Nazi occupation in World War 2, still alive and living in Iowa at age 89).

While slicing the onions, I slashed my thumb pretty badly, nearly took the tip right off. I was fine, it just hurt like hell and bled for a good while.

So... does proper protocol require that I eat Greek food again, make Greek food again, or sacrifice another digit before Game 6?

Hold off until game 7.

First of all, yes you should cut your fingertip before game 6 and 7. You should be thankful for that to happen before game 5. If that happened before game 1 you could have ended up with only 3 fingers left in your hands...
Please post the evidence of the wound so that we can turn on our TVs with faith that everything is going the right way.
