The Coffee Table

Well that's why I say it's not about malice, y'know? Let's say I know something that really peeves you I might do it once in a while to get a rise out of you, shit like that. I like to troll people. I enjoy like What Could Go Wrong on Reddit where stupid people have shit go wrong for them because of their impulsivity or what have you.

Take care

The only real store I've missing during all this is the barber. I'm in need of a haircut bad lol.

I might have to cut it myself being not sure when they'll re-open
Got some Wahl clippers from amazon, Wife did me. for her first time I'l give her 8 out of 10. wish I had more to cut lol

Being a only child this might be easier for me, I don't know. went out today for the first time in over 3 weeks. had to mail in some bills. went down to a parking lot near by that was empty. just sat there about 15 minutes. was stunned at how much traffic there was. it was like a typical Sunday affair. 50% of normal at that hour on a Tuesday.

I thought it would be worse here by now a month ago. with all the people worldwide that come here daily. all the locals here working around them etc.

Stay home the life you save could be someone else's or yours. the trouble with this thing is there will not be a happy ending.
only a ending

All right I'm getting tired of it all. I'm still employed but work in a healthcare facility where there's several positive COVID cases. So I put myself somewhat in a place to be susceptible despite wearing gloves & mask. I mean I'm a relatively healthy young man so I'm pretty sure I can get over it if infected.

But on the other hand it sucks to be out of work and not be able to pay the bills/ and or feel productive.

The whole Corona thing sucks donkey balls

Drank for the first time in a while. Wifey bought a "pandemic" bottle of tequila and with our powers combined we both put a good dent in it. Played some games, messed around on Twitter. I made sure I stayed hydrated and thankfully I didn't wake up with /too/ bad of a hangover.

I agree. Fuck Coronavirus. Like, the 2016 Wildfire was just a local thing. This is a global-scale thing that is just really... inconveniencing me lmao

A couple of deaths where I work. It was upsetting. I had though in the back of my mind US officials saying these would be the worst two weeks ahead though. So the analytical part of me kept that in mind. But I'm not one who likes to just view human lives as numbers.

I guess as in all else balance is usually key. It's like my opinion with analytics when it comes to Browns football. There's been discussion a lot on the main boards (a fair amount of times turning into political shit shows). But yeah I'm of the opinion analytics can be helpful but it's foolish/stupid just plugging in stats into a computer and expecting results. There's human element there you must consider

Cashed in on a sale and got NBA2k20 for 25 bucks. It took like 20 hours to download but I'm in. Tinkering with the rosters. Gonna roll with the Grizz and probably the Cavs but we will see. I'm back to work tomorrow but I have (maybe) four days off this week. On-call two of them, meaning they're paying me to stay home. I keep waiting for notice the status-quo will change and layoffs are coming but I don't see any sign of whats up either way.

Shopping these days:

There's a Youtube poster edp445. A loud/overweight/vulgar/crass but extremely passionate Eagles fan. Sometimes he posts other videos during the offseason about random stupid stuff in his life. Some are just admittedly gross and disturbing.

I have to admit this video had me laughing pretty hard! Even before this Coronavirus started I was sort of always the type to avoid stores if there's too many people/parking lot seems pain in the ass-ey/ not well organized, etc... Screw that shit!

But yeah I think the underlying message here is the same as mine. Just a lot more expressive/colorful. Big guy lmao

Happy Easter all here!

I still fire up my 360 and rock out NCAA 14 almost weekly.

Ah dude! We talked about NCAA games recently I think (pretty sure it was here) and my nephew brought my 360 down when he came to visit. I got about a solid month out of it before we had to retire 'er not due to the red ring but due to a rancid smell of melting plastic that was coming from the xbox (not to mention it was about as loud as the OG 360 we had that we fixed after a red ring). Those games were a lot of fun! I wish they'd make one of those versions backwards compatable. I'd buy it 100% but that's how it goes. A relic of the time now, probably forever. I'd be surprised if we saw College Sports games again.

How is everyone doing?

Four days off... This is day two. I've caught the illness that started with my offspring and made its way to me. Not the 'rona, I hope but either way I'm just resting and if come Sunday I'm still feeling like this I'll probably have to get my ROE and take two-weeks off as a precaution. Yaaaay -_-

Since you're under 40 and I'm assuming otherwise healthy, there'd be a better chance of Hue Jackson coming back to coach the Browns and lead the team to a Super Bowl victory than Coronavirus doing serious damage to you haha. Here's to a healthy recovery.

There's someone at work that just went out for flu like symptoms. I think they're giving her 2 weeks she has to take as well just to be extra cautious. I have no idea how that works with sick time. I might get asked to step in for some her work.

But yeah anytime you have some kind of symptom of not feeling well you wonder if you got it. I always cough/sneeze this time of the year with allergies. At first I wondered but realized I was thinking too deeply

I'm not really worried, I feel fine. I'm more worried about my in-laws, who I live with. Just work being the way it is right now, if I tell em I'm sick, they won't let me come in to work lol. I burned through my sick pay last year so I dunno how much, if any, that I have. I think it caps at 40 hours but I could be wrong.

Working in healthcare, I used to joke I picked the one industry & workplace that was ran worse than the Browns lol. But I must say where I work has handled this crisis pretty well I guess as could possibly be? Maintaining adequate supplies, paying overtime, keeping people quarantined even if just have symptoms of covid, masks required to wear for everyone, etc.... I only get the numbers of people positive, I don't actually know everyone that has it.

I wonder though when this ends if society becomes even more sort of socially detached?

You make a good point Chuck.
After 9-11 we gave up a lot because of revenge, fear
and ended up fighting Iraq?
Could it get any crazier?
Well here we are with this current pile of dog poo and hopefully
as a country we don’t overreact and get back to some form of
normalcy.

On another point I make it a point not to block or report anyone
but I failed and reported KOK aka ragnor.
He started on another poster for a pay site who had some sort of
Inappropriate behavior when he was twenty five and the girl was
seventeen I don’t condone it but I’ve seen it growing up in the 70’s
and eighties and I’m talking like 16years old with a 19 year old type of age difference.
Somehow in my neighborhood that was the norm high school girls
dating college guys, it wasn’t like a grown man did something to
a child ,people like that cant be cured and jail or sterilization is the
only remedy for people with that kind of issue
The guy plead out it was years ago but KOK just won’t stop posting
about it and It’s just annoying that a persons life can be summed up
by a single mistake.
So now of course I approve of this behavior because I’m tired of seeing it
when I’m reading football posts?

I had decided in the wake of the Draft and the political stupidity on this virus
that I wasn’t going to post until after the draft and I’m completely done with
politics but this guy just called me something from philly and I’m tired of it.
So I confess I broke my pledge to myself and I’m going to chalk this up to cabin
fever.

On the gaming front I have an original X box that I never opened and have like seven
games for it, years ago I had a computer game called X-com apocalypse it was a turn
based game where the planet is being invaded and your part of a team that tries to stop
the invasion. It was a cool game almost like chess but had a little action to it.I got an
Updated version for the X box that’s still in the wrapper, think it’s time to crack it open!
NBA Jam for the sega genesis was my game in the nineties, that was a lot of fun.
Anywho I’ll grab my coffee to go go and thanks for a place to vent!
Stay safe stay healthy!
