Lamm had a solid game. He’s at least serviceable. We have him for another year at just over 2 mil.
Hubbard isn’t good. He’s toast and luckily we can get out of his 7.3 million next month.
Teller seemed to have an above average day as well. He’s ours for $750,000 / season until 2022 if we want him.
Is this 2020 potential OL a comfortable enough improvement?

Watched Corbett @ LG for the Rams last night. Like Teller, he seemed to be holding his own.

It was a good day for the line. Teller seems to be settling in, have to remember he had very limited experience at RG.
I think Lamm showed us what a "so-so" RT could look like, which is basically fine. Robinson continues to be the exact average starting NFL LT. Like 16/17. And again, we're among the best at NOT letting our QB get hit (think we're tied for 2nd).
So no, the line isn't a disaster and should not be blown up. I agree with most, the interior seems to be settling in. Thinking Teller also benefit from not having garbage to his right. I'm sure we'll be adding an OL at the top of the draft but the other four starters just might be on the team.

I'm okay, pending a weird collapse, with penciling in Teller at RG and Lamm as the (non-starter) swing OT with the opportunity to compete for a starting spot.
Teller's PFF grade in preseason, where he logged 121 snaps, was near 80.
His reputation is very good.
As grade-A stamped as Bitonio and Tretter? Well heck no. But he's very young and promising.

That'd be OT and G within our first four picks, since we don't have a 5th (as that was used on Teller)
Depends who's there and who JD likes. I wouldn't dislike it. Might even be able to get an OT/G.

Again, you don't spend two picks to get a guard you don't think is gonna be a starter. Doesn't mean it'll happen, but you think he has the look of a starter. I think it's playing out that way.
Browns won't be adding a high priced right guard so they can again have the most expensive interior in football. No way. With Bitonio and Tretter getting paid, that guy needs to be cost effective. Teller is on his rookie deal for this year and next, I believe.

Not sure the need is for a wr in any round of next year's draft. We have more important needs elsewhere. The line, DB, lb and it's about time for the Njoku experiment to end......

G-Rob has been consistently "okay" since he got here, with an arrow headed gradually up. He's kind of a late bloomer with high-end ability so I'd expect that trend to continue wherever he lands.
I'm girding for the obvious discussions about G-Rob being a quality starter on a playoff team next season.

I would sign to G Rob to a friendly deal, although stats be damned he is not as good this season as he was last. I don't think he and Campen mesh.

I'll go the other way: I think somebody will get him on a one-year deal and be pretty damn happy with him. I think his overall growth will be more appreciated in a new setting where they didn't watch the process.
I really think he's a legit starting LT, but there's still stink on him from being a "bust."

I really believe fan reluctance on Robinson is mostly due to the stank on him as a bust. If he'd just been a 3rd round pick, we'd be thrilled with his ascent.
Just read Jake's paywall story on Lamm, was extremely pleased with his pass blocking, said it's a style that should make Baker happy moving forward. Also said we're seeing players in the lineups that might be here next year, doing double duty while still technically in it, and Lamm is seen as a potential starting RT. At worst, he's under contract and could be a quality swing.
Jake thinks he'll start the rest of the season, needs to improve his run blocking, might wanna muscle up a little to play the right side. Has a rep as a gift pass blocker, a natural, great athlete. Might not be a high end LT but could be a very good RT.
We'll see. Feels like at worst he'll compete on the right side with Teller and Forbes. If we draft high for the LT, could see those three and a 3rd/4th round pick competing.
