I don't think it's a given that Schwartz leaves. Maybe the bridge is too burned (ie maybe his pride/ego is too bruised), but. . . remember when Myles requested a trade? Haslam could offer Schwartz a real nice renegotiated contract, and, Schwartz could come to his senses that he has no remaining HC opportunities AND his BEST move is to stay with an elite defense rather than go start over elsewhere with a lesser D. The more I think of it, if he were set on leaving because of this, he would have simply done so by now. The more this drags out, the more it tends towards him staying.
