ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi reports Deshaun Watson has thrown six interceptions in four training camp practices.​

It’s hard to put too much stock into practice stats, but if there’s one thing coaching staffs won’t tolerate from the quarterback position it’s turnovers. “It’s multiple -- they’re doing all types of different stuff, showing us different things,” Watson said of Cleveland’s defense. Watson and Shedeur Sanders remain in competition for the No. 1 quarterback job at this point, though it certainly seems like Sanders (who has been picked once per Oyefusi) is off to a better start.

It seems if there’s been any movement, it’s been Gabriel gaining on Watson.

He’s going against the 3’s and 4’s, his play last year showed almost no flashes, and I’m thinking having a slightly sharper jot from the huddle to the line isn’t enough to make a move up the depth chart.

Green has the best completion % by far, ftr.

If Gabriel were 6'03 and 215 lbs he'd be in the lead. But he's not. I think he's making a good case to be a quality backup. Especially after Watson is gone.

In a perfect world he'd get us a late round pick, and we could develop Green. Or vice versa.
