In case anyone is still wondering, apparently there remains mutual interest between the Browns and Will Fuller.
Apparently he just had a baby (Well, guessing his wife did. I mean, he kinda had it too but that was in the form of an orgasm some months ago) and isn't in a rush to sign a contract.
Sounds pretty definite to me. He wants the Browns. The Browns want him. Doesn't matter if the contract is signed now or two weeks from now.

From what I could find on youtube quickly, he doesnt look like a very well rounded receiver though.

He needs a little work on his patterns. but his hands should be a selling point. he could be had at #78 maybe at #99 even.
I think the word "project" doesn't work/happen at WR. you can get open and catch or not.
I'm right or wrong.

Because it would be a huge reach for a guy we can get on in 6th-7th round...or even FA after the draft...who isn't nearly as talented as WR's who will be there at 44.

Cincinnati WR Alec Pierce has a scouting report brimming with excellence as he's emerged as a Day 2 prospect in the 2022 NFL Draft.
He looks waaaay to early at balls in the air, he slows down a lot once he has some separation, he basically plays like the opposite of Randy Moss who would put his hands up for the catch at the last moment, or would hide the fact he was tracking the ball in flight.
Nearly no one is Randy Moss, I understand, but besides tools, this kid needs to learn a lot.

I like Pierce but he's basically Donovan Peoples-Jones. I'm looking more at John Metchie and Jalen Tolbert in the mid-rounds. At 44 I'm thinking Jahan Dotson may be the move.
It's such a weird WR draft. I feel like guys like Tolbert and Pickens would go way higher in any other draft. George Pickens ran a 4.47 at 6'3" and gets looked at like he's slow.
It's such a fast class that guys who otherwise answered questions about their athleticism are being looked at sideways.

yeah,hes going to fall to the 7th rd.what an idiot. drafttek.com has him going in the 3rd rd.
we might be better off drafting a DT at 44 and a WR in the 3rd rd

He's rated by NFL scouts as an average back-up or special teams player. So you're right...those typically go on day 2 :rollingeyes:
Weaknesses
- Below-average release quickness.
- A likely target for continuous press coverage.
- Upright drive phase gives away impending route break.
- Doesn't play with burst through the stem.
- Ball tracking can be a little labored.
- Won't add many yards after the catch underneath.
- Route limitations could hinder overall usage.
Definitely sounds like a WR worthy of the 44th pick!!!

Fact is we don't even know how good the guys we have will be with Watson tossing them the ball.
since #44 is our #1 pick imo you need to take BPA unless it's So close. Dotson could be gone before #44.

A project is a guy Who didn't play WR much for many reasons. strange term for that position. imo
That's a _____ take. show me any mock/board that says that. I've seen him projected as high as 2nd round. I think that's a reach, more 3 or 4th rd like most do. make no mistake Alec Pierce will be drafted.
