NFL Baker to the Panthers for a 2024 (conditional) 5th rounder

I am 100% certain of who and what Baker is. A bottom tier QB who likely won't ever be a starter again other than to take over for the injured guy in front of him. Just like every other journeyman QB once in a while he has a game to hang his hat on. Like Case Keenum. Watch what happens next week.
You judge Baker based on last season when he was hurt. When healthy, Baker can sling it and be very good. It is impossible for you to admit that. So be it. The Rams are terrible. Last night was a miracle. Baker will probably get hurt next week. He has no offensive line. They are horrible.

I won't "admit" something that isn't true. When healthy every NFL QB can sling it and have a good day. Meaningless.

Consistency is who you are, not the occasional random game.

Personally I judge Baker on his total body of work. When you watch his game film even his "good" 2 seasons were not really that good. His flaws were more able to be masked/hidden during those seasons. There is a reason the winning formula with Baker has been to limit the number of throws he makes, and cut his reads to half the field

NEWSFLASH: Whoever QBs under Stefanski's run first offense is not going to have big numbers on a consistent basis. Watson will never replicate his numbers in Houston, hopefully, because he won't be that far behind and have to throw all the time and we will continue to be a run first team. Baker's 2020-2021 season, 26 Tds and 8 Ints and a QBR of 103.1 is about as good as any QB is going to do playing with Stefanski. And that's fine. But don't judge our QBs based on what throwing teams are going to have. Every Stefanski QB will have their throws limited, including Watson. And cutting the field in half for Baker is pure bs.

This is were he excels and fails. It’s like he has a falseness about himself and his abilities. He clearly has weaknesses and strengths, as we all do. The successful in life build on one and constantly work on the other. I hope he figures it out, it’s a cycle only he can repair.

RG3 there for a minute.

He’s not a linebacker, but at that moment, out of frustration he tried. Pop goes the shoulder. Shame the franchise, players, and fans had to pay for his emotional decisions.
