Worst in the league. Second to only his former teammate who he got benched for. Baker sucks. He will continue to suck. And I couldn't possibly care less about what he does, or doesn't do. As he said, Cleveland was never his home ...just a place he played. Fuck him and L.A. I'm a Browns fan.

I've said he can make a lot of plays. I've seen him as accurate as anyone.

I've also seen him as fucked as any other QB. Which leads me to believe he has someone in his ear that does not know shit about being a successful NFL QB. Just a guess on my part based on what I see. He can be balls ass on accurate. And then be a totally clueless dud.

We all know this to be true from when he played here.

The way Watson played he looked like he never donned a set of pads before... He wasn't just bad... He was downright AWFUL!

And If anyone thinks talent can't erode over night... I'll give you a one Carlos Baerga who was one of the best hitters in baseball crash with a meteoric THUD! I know two diff sports but all the same...
 
DW is better than BM bro. Not that BM sucks.

I've always thought of him as a middling starting NFL QB. A guy who is pretty good, but not a game changer like DW. We could've won with him. He's just not the top tier QB that his people have convinced him he is. He might be if he decided to shed all the people surrounding him.

I'm not debating that on paper... So far the only thing Deshaun has changed is teams...
 
That Carlos example is dead on. He was destined for the baseball HOF then got lazy. It cost him his legacy.

Like a certain LT we all know who's name rhymes with Jedrick Wills.
 
Bakers to hot and cold, he thrives on emotion and plays over his ceiling. It's not sustainable and why he has a hard time playing well consistently. Good coaching will bring out the best traits in any QB so McVay should help him look good enough for another shot.
 
kegar its hard to disagree with your observations.....I tried.
baker might just be better at streetball than designed plays and formats.its as simple as that.
look at mahomboy,playing for a pure x's and o's guy from the ol school an hes flyin around like vick and peyton had a threesome with kermit the frog and birthed #15.
now the chiefs draw up plays with improvisation built in as a given.If baker can get help like that from mcvey and keep that free streetball vibe? maybe thats going to be his thing going forward.
Id bet bakers injury's are just starting to 100% recover by about now too.
I think even the most stubborn baker "haters" on this board would like to see him succeed
