Hey everyone,

I have been lurking around the forums for some time now. I am also over at dawgtalkers.net. I am 29 years old living in NE Georgia right now. I was born in Painesville but lived in Mentor. I have been down here since 95. Me and my father are huge browns fans. I even got us tickets to the Browns v Falcons game here in ATL. It will be the first game we have been able to attend together...ever.

Newly registered and dropping by to introduce myself. I'm a Browns writer, historian and lifelong fan who started the first-ever blog focused on the Browns back in 2002. I still update it, though sporadically. I've written several features for the OBR website and magazine. I've created a few Browns quizzes on Sporcle and maintain an updated, free, downloadable Browns roster spreadsheet containing more data fields than exist in one place anywhere else.

Looking forward to checking out the discussions here during what is already a very interesting Browns season.

Thanks,
Ace

Hey everyone,

Long distance browns fan here, luckily get pictures for games most weekends so I can experience the (joy and) heartache as it happens. Also going to be in the pound for my first ever live game in a couple of weeks against the steelers, cannot wait!

GO BROWNS

Hey guys,

I found this site after looking for a place where i can discuss about the Cleveland browns and i was fortunate enough to find this website. I have been a browns fan since 2003, since then I have been a browns fans.

Thank You,
Let's keep cheering em' on!

I'm Jim, using screen name Chet The Jet after Chet Hanulak, the first Brown I bonded with when playing football at Parmadale at age 9.

Grew up in Wickliffe, moved to Marietta, Ga in '80, retired in 2001.
Always been a Browns fan and lived the glory years, now waiting for their renewal!

Hey y'all! My name is Kyle, AKA RIHModell94.

New to the forum, but not new to Cleveland sports.

Born in Akron, OH, in 1994. Grew up with the Indians and Cavs, but no Browns thanks to Art Modell (hence my name). Been a Browns fan my whole life though. NEO OH born and raised, which unfortunately means heartbreak when it comes to sports.

Welcome aboard, man!

Hello to everyone,
Born and raised in Akron area, now live in Florida. Browns fan from birth and DNA. I am the type that only roots for Cleveland (hometown teams) or nothing.

Have spent 42 years now waiting for a team to come together and give us real pride! So many years of "maybe next year" or "they building the team."
I was in the Marines when Art took them away from us and remember the exact spot of ground I was standing on when my parents called and told me the news. It really was the same situation as first space shuttle accident, birth of my daughter, 911. It was on that level, as far as memory! I am not comparing each, just the fact it makes such a deep impact on you that you take a mental photo of where you were at that moment when you first heard the news.

Anyhow, I am truly excited about this team we have now and can not stop myself from thinking about it. I , like many, am hesitant about putting in full faith after so many years of no fruit. But think we really got something this time!

Go Browns!!

PS: Thought I was going to get beaten down on Thursday game with Cincy. Was in the middle of a pack of Cincy fans and was yelling non-stop. Was awesome!! I walked in thinking we would lose, but the Browns rattled Dalton from the start.

That's some good stuff, man. It's about time us Browns fan get a glimmer of hope...and i don't think it's fleeting. In a way i think this Sunday's game will tell the tale for the rest of the season. We need to win and retain first place....show them this is not a fluke.

Go Browns.
