I dunno who's a metal head around here but I've been absolutely infatuated with Astronoid's debut album Air. It's been described as "Dream Metal" and I find it to be just absolutely fantastic. Here's the whole album (it's about 50 min). My favourite tracks are Homesick, Obsolete and Tin Foil Hats but really the whole album is a treat beginning-to-end.

I checked and brought her name up earlier in this thread, Teena Marie. Was a protege of Rick and the story was he discovered her signing in an office? or something like that.

But yeah very underrated. Imo a better soul singer than Beyonce/Mariah/Adele/Whitney. Pre-internet everyone assumed she was black because of her voice
