So it looks like he may have to sell. this lawsuit imo will not go forth as Discovery is far to dangerous for the league. but heads must roll.
how to fix the hiring is hard but must be done... somehow. There must be unbelievable pressure to hire Black HC's asap today.

Under a Jimmy Haslam title, no reference to anything, Who may have to sell? Then the Black HC references? Bro, this post is a clusterfuck.
 
If Haslam is forced to sell by the NFL, He will be forced to sell to a black owner in the name of woke and for no other reason. I would prefer just selling to someone who is a native Ohioan first and if the owner happens to be black white hispanic etc then sobeit......but mark my words, Goodell will follow in Bidens footsteps on this one and quals will have nothing to do with it....

Nah, evidence isn't strong enough unfortunately. Haslams will likely be able to weather the storm. If Kraft can survive multiple cheating scandals, getting caught employing illegal aliens as grounds crew at the stadium.and get busted buying Asian hookers? Or Art Rooney employing steroid dealers in the locker room for 3 decades before getting caught? Truckstop Hillbilly can make it through a claim he tanked seasons with no evidence to back it up.

Doesnt matter what the evidence or lack of is. If the woke mob wants you, they are coming for you. Especially now that the woke/fake media has pounced on it. And the woke mob will come for Haslam because he is white. And poor ole Hue is not......

I think in his mind he was a genius. I dont know that anyone suggested hiring Jackson back. This hole debacle and cynicism just furthers the dysfunction surrounding the franchise.

He's probably an alright guy when his lips aren't moving yes. His credibility on these allegations against Haslam should come into question. I seem to remember him pointing the finger at everyone but himself during his tenure as head football coach of the Browns.

If hiring black just to hire black because of "racial justice" or "affirmative action" I'll keep Stefanski and hope he improves. Haslam is an idiot of the first order and never should have allowed the NFL to force Jackson on him if that is indeed what happened. He has no nutz. Typical beta male......

So we hire people who look like US. a real effort has to be made to end it.

This got me thinking. I poked around. no black coach save Mike Tomlin had a top QB the past 20 years other than Tony Dungy. Smith had Cutler. Lewis Dalton.
it's the problem for all NFL coaches. McCarthy is one of the very few who got canned with a good QB. it matters

We still have over a half a dozen teams now that haven't ever hired a black HC coach. Patriots, Saints kinda get a pass

It doesn't need fixed. Owners who want to win hire the guy they think is going to get them the wins. Period. Hiring based on race, is racist. The Rooney rule is racist. The Fritz Pollard alliance
...racist. Ignore the pigment, hire the alpha who can teach and motivate. It isn't that difficult.

A race that makes up 7% of the population shouldn't be surprised when they make up 7% of the coaches in the league. Why would anyone expect more? In fact if you want to dive deeper into college degrees, education, IQ, etc ....you could understand even more why it could be less than 7% coaching.

Let's face it ...a large percentage of athletes especially those who were good enough to make it to the pros, got to coast through school most of their lives. Just because could run and catch, doesn't mean they can coach.

Enough with the pigment. Content of character. Ability to do the job. If some old cook wants to be racist and passes up the best man for the job ...it will be his business or organization that suffers from the lesser hire. So let it. Easy.
 
It's sounding more and more like Houston wanted Flores but may now be leaning towards Lovie Smith to avoid the drama.

I applaud Flores for his conviction to stand for something. It is undeniable the Rooney Rule has often seen minority coaches interviewed despite having no legitimate chance at the gig. It's also fair to say black coaches have to go above and beyond to earn a gig. But Flores might have shot himself in the foot with the lawsuit.
