Too bad. But Monken said they weren't changing the scheme. We got the dudes. We be okay.
Come on, man. No hate for Schwartz. He was good while he was here.Schwartz…
Got beat out for HC
By a guy who has frankly earned his shot
Decided to quit despite being under contract.
That’s a 100% pussy move.
What a little bitch
Didnt you write a fare well letter not so long ago?Come on, man. No hate for Schwartz. He was good while he was here.
I learned how to put racist asshats on ignore.Didnt you write a fare well letter not so long ago?
What happened to that, change of heart?
Interesting:I don't believe coordinators can be traded. We either work out a deal to release him from the contract or prevent him from working.
I'm over it... I don't care anymore... I'm more concerned about what's happening in the here and now.. He acted like a bitch..... In one regard I don't blame him but still.. Be a professional.. When I got kicked out of a band once I just smiled and said.. Yeah.. Okay.. then they broke up like 2-3 months later.. I just moved on to the next phase... That's what the Browns need to focus on... Also the fans...AI says a 5th is a possible comp.
We do love 5ths.
However, theirs is no precedent.
And I think, all a team has to do is give him a pseudo-promotion, like assistant-HC/DC and voila, he’s gone.
COORDINATORS CANNOT BE TRADED FOR DRAFT PICKS. If a coach is under contract that contract can be honored, terminated, or blocked from lateral moves. Coordinators can not be blocked from moving to HEAD coaching positions; and even then, there is no draft pick compensation within the framework of league rules. NO trades of any kind can be made for a coordinator or an assistant of any kind. The workaround is allowing a coach out of a contract and a lopsided player trade for draft picks.. but that's about it. After your post I looked into this further.Interesting:
"Trade for Contractual Rights: Since Schwartz resigned but remains under contract with the Browns through 2026, any team wishing to hire him for a coordinator or other position must negotiate with the Browns and likely trade draft picks as compensation for breaking his current contract. This is similar to the situation involving Sean Payton and the New Orleans Saints."
