NFL Draft QB Draft Watch 2026

QCT might have a biased opinion about Clemson players. Just Sayin.

Speaking of the kid he has something like an %80 completion rate. Too bad he's not eligible and I have to admit I have a biased opinion of Buckeye players.

Unless he can articulate how each of his formulas are calculated it's another list of college QB's.
Scouts are paid to watch these guys drive the ball downfield, with accuracy & timing & success while avoiding the rush.
Also looking at footwork, standing tall in the pocket under pressure, escapability, extending plays, throwing on the run accurately, holding the ball properly, dropbacks in 3, 5 and 7 steps and other stuff.

Like intelligence, do his teammates generally find him a likable leader or is he a bit of an asshole? Does he quit?
Does he take coaching & criticism well?

Just a mountain of information.

Clemson Cade Klubnik 20/27/ 221 1/0 73.4

Oregon Dante Moore 13/21 112 0/1 39.7

LSU Garrett Nussmeier 18/21 121 0/0 79.5

S Carolina Lanoris Sellers Bye Week

Indiana Fernando Mendoza 19/30 218 1/1 75.0 Again he gets

Miami Carson Beck 18/24 247 1/0 62.8

Oklahoma John Mateer Bye Week

Alabama Ty Simpson 21/35 277 1/0 79.6* The hot hand of the week closely followed by Nussmeier, Mendoza & Klubnik.

I'm planting my flag on Ty Simpson. He has everything outside of multiple years starting you look for. Strong Arm, Accurate, Mobile, Etc. The NFL won't be too big for him coming from Alabama, and his TD:INT says all you need to know about his impact on winning games.

Mendoza's immobility will be a problem for him in the pros, and while I like Dante Moore, I personally don't feel comfortable betting on his development. Sellers is an elite athlete, but that's all he is today. If we go QB, I hope to hear Simpson's name.
