Somewhat diverting this topic of conversation I just go an email from a relative. It told me I am always in her thoughts and prayers because I can possibly be contaminated but this virus at my place of work. I mean who says that stuff lol

I know the person and it was meant to mean well. But good gravy moving forward lmao
 
This pandemic thing has put everyone on edge but that’s a pretty
ugly email Chuck,think I’d put that person on ignore for awhile.

The Simpsons were great,but it’s really not different than music
every decade a new generation comes around and they change
the music and movies to get the kids watching and buying things.

Family Guy was cancelled after it’s first two seasons, DVD sales
went through the roof and Fox realized they made a mistake and
brought it back. Like the Simpsons I liked it and I still can watch either
but they have been on a long time,it just wears out.
I never got into SOA but I loved SOAD!
Huge fan of breaking Bad and love Better Caul Saul.
Loved Ray Donovan on Showtime as well as Homeland
Futurama never held my interest and I know a lot of
people who love South Park but I just never got into it.
Guess I just have a weird sense of humor I don’t know?

Original story lines in movies are hard to find these days
unless you like comic book movies, never read a comic book
in my life,but I read Mad Magazine as a kid!

Music is like that, when you listen to music you grew up with
It doesn’t necessarily have to be a good tune but it takes you
back to the moment in time when you first discovered it and
those memories come flying back, or a song was playing when
you first got laid or had your first beer or whatever.

This thread is cool,good job everyone!

The first 2 were boring save the new footage. 3 picks up 4 now were kicking it.

One thing has happened AGAIN !
Mike is the First human that's allowed to say Fuck on TV. and other asshole words.
hated MJ but watched all his games. he ruined my Cav's. he was the most amazing BB player ever.
so much so at some point I figured he sold his soul.

It was a whacky comedy movie from the late
seventies. The kicker to that video was it was
two guys Kurt Russel hired to break in to
MNF and air that as a commercial but it wasn’t
there lot they were blowing up a competitors lot
in that commercial,for it’s time it wasn’t bad I
think of it as made for the drive in!

I was going to watch it but then I saw it was like a 5 part series of 2 hours increments. That just seems to drag out way to long for me.. If it was a two hour piece or even a two part two hour piece I'd tune in.

I did enjoy the one on the Bad Boy Pistons teams
 
Change of topic. Does anyone keep track of their astrology sign? I know people you tell them what it is and they already have all sorts of ideas about yourself. Some won't even look at a lover if their signs don't go together.

If you wonder what sports radio talk shows are doing these days this station had an interesting premise. The one host Joe Benigno is a lifetime Knicks/Jets/Mets/NY Ranger fan. Most notably the Jets though. Needless to say his teams haven't faired very well lol. Some they came up with a college basketball bracket for The Benigno Bracket of PAIN. I have to admit it's amusing




Joe's grunts and moans and putting his hand over his face recalling some of those moments are pretty funny! At the same time though I guess lifelong Cleveland sports fans could do something like this as well. Yeah a lot of stuff their you'd probably like to forget.

But hey they are up to the sweet 16 now lol. The Browns wild card win in 86" where Gastineau had the roughing the passer penalty against Bernie is still up there

MMW I'm assuming it's finished now. How was it overall?

As I said 10 hours of that team just seemed a little much to take at the moment. I saw a preview of it air where it apparently had never before practice scenes from the 1998 season. Idk it just seemed a little too after the fact for me. 10-15 years ago I'd have been enthralled. Just time's gone by sort of thing...

But I guess MJ was always very protective of his image in his day. Maybe now he doesn't care as much if there showing him drop f bombs and stuff.

Like I said I'm usually a nostalgic freak for stuff from my childhood and teenage days. Even before this quarantine.

But the series just doesn't do much to captivate me in.

If you watched MJ in the day, this is just more of that drama. with new comments & new saved video from behind the scenes.
I thought the drama over this being their last season together, was just that drama looking for more headlines. would have lost money betting they would come back for another season or 2.
 
Another change of pace I have to wonder how job interviews will take place the rest of this year and possible changes going forward.

Applying for jobs has always been online the last like 20 years. I have envy for job seekers way back in the day that could have landed jobs by calling business or just knocking on their door.

I went back to school at night and do some networking now with people in my field to get an idea of what the next job that should work for me should be. But yeah I imagine the handshake might go out of the way. Maybe all FaceTime type interviews. I wouldn't want to see that become the norm but you never know

It was ok. the past 2 days all the Hot Takes is MJ this MJ that. my biggest takeaway is Phil. MJ kept saying he would only play with Phil. didn't think coming into this I could add any more Phil value points but Ding Ding Ding

The Phil & Tex team are the best of NBA coaching of our time. has there been another 2 coaches in any team sport comparable to these 2 ?
 
I caught some of the reruns of the older ones. It showed how BJ Armstrong in his Hornets days beat them Game 2 one year, then the Bulls swept them the rest of the series. MJ took offense

The show is all right. I sorta get the sense Michael isn’t one of Armstrong’s favorite people in the world. I remember him being a good Bull though

So apparently Scottie Pippen isn't very pleased how he was portrayed. I only watched bits and pieces of the series so I can't comment too much about it. Just that Michael Jordan's production company made the documentary. She even despite showing him cusin' away maybe there's still a sense it's still not too much based in reality.

I thought back then Pippen was just about as good as Michael. I know he still stayed in the league years after the Bulls broke up. He didn't have near that success though which might have shown he still needed Michael to up his game
