NFL Baker to the Panthers for a 2024 (conditional) 5th rounder

Baker is trash. Was always trash. Recently trashed Cleveland and his time here. He had one good season, his rookie year. The Covid season he was totally neutered and not happy about it. All smoke and mirrors. Can't see 3/4 of the field. Can't read a defense. Doesn't throw with touch or accuracy. Short. Unathletic. Not serious about offseason improvement. Not serious about improvement at all. He will likely hang on for several years as a backup if his ego can handle it, and then will be drummed out of the league.

I wouldn't gloat too much... Our QB looked like absolute garbage yesterday... I've seen rooks with 0 experience come in cold off the street and put up better performances against much better teams than the garbage Watson faced yesterday.. That should be concerning... Watson has a lot of junk to clean up... Hes had OTA's and Preseason... He looks like toast...

as a player? I think the tape speaks for itself
as a bloke I think he learnt a hard lesson regarding pride and a sudden violent fall
he certainly carried himself well in carolina and seems to have grown up some
I dont think he'll continue in the league.too much baggage, too little talent.
but good for him he made good in carolina out of a bad situation and just worked
he won,hes a millionaire.good for you kid.you did alright.

If we had sam in bakers place? It might have worked out.we could call the ghostbusters?
If BM had been smarter and worked this DW drama out behind closed doors instead of on the tweeter?
he would be on the niners by now. you see? too much baggage.
thats just mean (BTW I had no idea this existed LOL)

If it was a MAJOR factor BM could've said so and took time off.

He mentioned his team back then. That team is what fucked him over and subsequently himself. They were incompetent or BM was not man enough to tell them all to fuck off and make his own decision surrounding his injury.

Not a BM hater, but he has only himself to blame. He could've tried to resolve personal issues with OBJ, KS, Landry and anybody else. Instead he chose to play hurt and blame KS, AVP or anyone else for poor performances, but then chose to sit out the last game of the season.

Baker is at fault for wanting to play hurt, no question. But anyone could see he wasn't up to performing at any kind of competent NFL QB standard after week 3 last year. So the team is also at fault. Didn't you watch the games? I mean it was so obvious.
