The Offensive Line

It's encouraging that Teller's been appreciated across a couple organizations and line coaches. Campen (another zone dude) loved him and Dorsey traded not one but two picks... for a guard. Now we hear he was Callahan's favorite in that draft.

Trust experts. It's the new thing.

Oh boy! Check this out:

I mean, I'd vote roll the cap over (instead of signing Peters), even if he's available for only 5 million.

Don't get me wrong, insurance for Wills and depth isn't a horrible idea, but doesn't that go against the Depo manifesto of "don't pay for depth"?

I kinda think Wills would be as good or better than Peter by game three or four, but only if he plays. I also feel like we have some pretty good depth. And yet... I can never quite say no to a quality LT.

Whoever gets the RG position Conklin is right next to him
and excellence is contagious, so whoever wins out
at RG will have to push there game up to Conklin level
we should be good without going deep in f/a or trades,
this is still a very good and very young team that I hope finds it’s identity
this season.

Youth + new coach + CoVid obstacles + last year's hype train is what's holding people back from predicting 9-10 wins.

None of that concerns me, other than the CoVid obstacles. On-field practice reps and mini-camps matter.

Gotta love Diek ... gotta open the tweet to appreciate it

Cross my fingers on the season,
and I agree OC and I believe we have the right
staff to get the most out of these guys especially
since most admit they mailed it in last season by
believing there own hype, this offense will be
explosive this year!!!

I see you, Andrew Berry.

Our OLine is set except for the RG position that will be manned by somebody with experience whether it's Forbes, Hubbard or Teller. They all have played some. Wills is the rookie LT and all reports are that he's working on making the switch to LT as hard as the pandemic rules allow him.

I re watched the Ravens game we won and the Bills game and man GRob was a sieve at LT. I saw the Bills end run right past him and damn near untouched by GRob save for a weak attempt with his hand to grab his jersey. Similar poor technique in the ravens game too.

Hunt was a good lead blocker for Chubb, so whoever we keep as the FB should brush up on his/their pass catching cause Hunt can do both right now. #bestNFL-RB-room

I'm all the way out on the limb for Teller. The Callahan connection has me feeling really good about it, now has a legit RT next to him. I bet he locks in real good.
